Gov is a fall back option that constitution has provided. Under special and emergency circumstances gov will take over. We cannot erase that completely. Government control should never be passed on to a person hand picked by out of state interests. This is no different from British queen picking governor generals to rule India. That does not mean those reasons are acceptable in current context. definition of "valid" changes over time. probably I don't have to remind you what things were considered valid or normal 100 years ago are now intolerable. No party is exception to this. if an elected person arm-twists or bulldozes opposition and people are not happy with that, he will pay the price in the next election. On the other hand these remote controlled puppets are not answerable to the public effected by those decisions.
