“Idhi kaka pothey inkoti” and “valla salaries vallaki vastayi”

why cant the same be applied to Mukesh Ambani? Idhi kakapothey inkoti.... he will earn profits some where else....

govt institutes like ISRO, DRDO and HAL has some prominence and not mere rubber stamps.

Merit comes into play if we are building aircrafts in India. Since we are not building here HAL doesn’t come into play. Ee chinna vishayam eppudu ardhamayyidhi. Either in UPA or NDA as offset partners Ambanis were there among other companies which includes HALs joint venture SNecma.

Brother....there will be so many stringent checks and balances to be selected as a vendor for any defense related purchases/contracts, even if that entity is not directly involved. When Dassault selected Reliance as a partner, why was government silent?

1. HAL main mandate is to build aircrafts that’s what it’s doing. As joint ventures they also pursue offset activities, in case of Rafale they are doing with Snecma.

2. 50% of the deal needs investment in India as part of make in India initiative. Why are you struck at Reliance there are 70 other partners. All companies can utilize this opportunity. Aircraft build cheyali ante experienced kavali for parts not that necessary. Reliance acquired pipapav defence Ltd to enter this area, so they meet required guidelines for both govt. and Dassault.

3. UPA deal was 2.4 lac crore, they said they didn’t have money and the deal fell through. IAF guy already indicated 18 rounds of negotiations happened. NDA deal is 60k crore roughly of which 30k crore should be invested in India. For this already they have 70+ companies and Reliance, Snecma HAL, Mahendra etc are there. Government’s are only involved in govt-govt deal. Dassault can choose and pick partners, later GOI will audit.

As per agreement Dassault can pick and choose any govt. registered company within the make in India frame work. During UPA they made deal with RIL, mukesh passed the wing to Anil, now they did with ADAG. Anil acquired defence company Pipapav defence Ltd to enter defence market.

and one more question vadiki 45k crores contract ichharu, maufacture cheyadu ani reliance vade cheppadu france lo tayaru ayyedenailo, but india lo maufacture ayeevatiki vadu chesthada?  or assemble chesthada leka maintenance chesthada. do you have any link exactly what are the reliance roles in offset plan?

'NOT MANUFACTURING'

In a strong counter to the "Rs 45,000 crore benefit to the group despite lack of experience" charge levelled by Rahul Gandhi against Reliance, Ambani has stated in the letter that "not a single component" of the 36 Rafale aircraft purchased by India "worth a single rupee is to be manufactured by Reliance".

Ambani adds, "Our role is limited to offset exports and export obligations. More than 100 medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs) will participate in this, along with public sector undertakings like BEL and Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO). This role strengthens Indian manufacturing capabilities, and is in pursuance of the Offsets Policy introduced by the Congress-led UPA Government itself from 2005 onwards."

There is no manufacturing in India, thats why no direct involvement of HAL, the 36 flights will be manufactured and delivered with missiles in fly-away condition starting 2019 ending 2022.  There will be another new tender next year for 110 flights.
