ravindras Posted September 24, 2018 Share Posted September 24, 2018 i went to vijayawada loco shed in my diploma excursion. we got inside rail engine. driver showed us how to run train. train don't have steering. train maximum speed depends on track . if the track contain sharp curves then train has to run slowly. if the track is straight line or with curves with less degree train can run with high speeds. by changing alignments at certain places of track to reduce curves they can run trains upto 160 kmph which is enough for any indians.
