sonykongara Posted August 14, 2018 Share Posted August 14, 2018 State government will develop 5,000 crematoriums by 2019’ Minister for Information Technology and Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh said here on Monday that the State government had allotted ₹186 crore for the development of burial grounds in the State. Speaking to reporters after inaugurating a modern crematorium developed under the PPP model by the Guntur Municipal Corporation and Phoenix Constructions at a cost of ₹2 crore at Koretipadu, he said that development of crematoriums had been given the highest priority by the government. Burial grounds had been modernised in Sattenapalli, Narsaraopet and Chilakaluripet. Model crematoriums The State Government had developed 1,107 crematoriums and would develop another 5,000 by 2019.
