Nagarjuna Sagar ki water vasthe this proj is very useful. But Krishna water Srisailam dam nunchi raavatam ledhu.. AP ekkada baagupadutundemo ani KCR Godavari water ni Nagarjunasagar dam lo ki teesukuvachhe project aapesadu.. he is even ok with (old)Nalgonda district not getting water. So Pulichintala proj is not that much useful now

Without water from Sagar, there is no other water source for this dam?

It’s balancing reservoir to stabilize the krishna delta. The original idea was feasible 30 years back when we used get enough water  and waste water to sea from sagar. While project kickoff there was no feasible study performed or evaluate previous one. It’s was just built to rob some money during jalayagnam days.

robbing money anedhi pakkana pedithe, it can be very useful project bro... originally planned to fill with Krishna water... even now it can be filled with Godavari water... but KCR scrapped this just to make AP suffer.

CBN then came up with the great idea of Pattiseema. KCR gonthu lo definite ga velakkayya padi vuntundhi ee pattiseema idea tho.

- Total capacity 45 tmc

- other than sagar down stream - other water sources are musi + some vagu thru ethipothala

- TG can generate power if water level reaches certain feet. I think it’s more than 25 tmc level.

- ee project summer lo baga Vupayogapaduthundi

- actual ga ee season lo almost 2 tmc supplement chesindi

- AP ki sagar taruvatha  tailpond and pulichintala ( 10 + 45). Ee rendu baganu vupayogapadathayi.

Okavela TG kullumothu tanam choopisthe, By releasing water thru power generation at sagar -ee two projects lo water save chesukovatchu - of coarse aa chance AP ivvatledanuko - last two years ga.

TG can generate(at pulichintala) only if water level reaches certain feet. I’m sure it’s above 20-25 tmc level. Sagar lo ala kadu.

- aa 2 tmc kuda last season nunchi store chesinavi, ee season ki vupayogapaddayi - ee project lekapothe adi kuda vundevi kadu.

- main reason for this project is to stabilize the krishna delta by storing end of the season water that flows out from sagar. But unfortunately no water from sagar for last 3 years.
