The death toll in the boat tragedy in East Godavari district was put at 22. The chief minister announced an ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh to each of the families of the deceased, besides an immediate financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh for performing last rites of the victims and other needs. “Besides, the government would provide employment opportunities to the eligible in the victims’ families, free educational facilities for school-going children of their families and adequate financial assistance under rehabilitation and resettlement package of the Polavaram major irrigation project under construction,” he said. sonykongara Posted July 17, 2018 Share Posted July 17, 2018 మృతుల కుటుంబాలకు రూ.5 లక్షల సాయం అందజేస్తామని చినరాజప్ప తెలిపారు. కోనసీమలో అవసరమైన అన్ని గ్రామాలకు ఇంజిన్ బోట్లు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామన్నారు. త్వరలో ఫంట్‌లు తయారు చేయించి ప్రమాదకరమైన గోదావరి పాయల్లో పెడతామని చినరాజప్ప వెల్లడించారు. కాగా ఇప్పటి వరకు ఇద్దరి మృతదేహాలు లభ్యం కాగా, మరో ఐదుగురి ఆచూకీ కోసం గాలిస్తున్నారు. నిన్నటి వరకూ యానాం రాజీవ్ గాంధీ బీచ్ కేంద్రంగా సెర్చ్ ఆపరేషన్ నిర్వహించారు. ఇవాళ యానాం సావిత్రినగర్, భైరవపాలెం కేంద్రంగా గాలింపు చర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.
