Under this institute will get 1000 Crore over period of 5 years to make it World Class institution . KING007 Posted July 10, 2018 Share Posted July 10, 2018 జియోకు శ్రేష్ఠతర హోదా.. కేంద్రంపై ఫైర్‌ దిల్లీ: ప్రపంచస్థాయి ర్యాంకింగ్‌లో ముందుండేలా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఆరు విద్యాసంస్థలకు శ్రేష్ఠతర హోదా కల్పిస్తూ కేంద్ర మానవవనరుల శాఖ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ఈ మేరకు ఆ శాఖ మంత్రి ప్రకాశ్‌ జావడేకర్‌ దీనికి సంబంధించిన వివరాలు వెల్లడించారు. ఈ హోదా కోసం దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 20 విద్యాసంస్థలను ఎంపిక చేస్తామని ప్రకటించినా.. చివరకు ఆరు వర్సిటీలను మాత్రమే ఎంపిక చేశారు. వీటిలో 3 ప్రభుత్వ, 3 ప్రయివేటు విద్యాసంస్థలు ఉన్నాయి. ప్రయివేటు విద్యాసంస్థల్లో బిట్స్‌ పిలానీ, మణిపాల్‌ యూనివర్శిటీ, జియో ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్‌(రిలయన్స్‌ ఫౌండేషన్‌) ఈ హోదా దక్కించుకున్నాయి. అయితే జియో ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్‌కు శ్రేష్ఠతర హోదా కల్పించడంపై విమర్శలు వెల్లువెత్తుతున్నాయి. ఇంకా ప్రారంభం కాని ఓ విద్యాసంస్థకు ఉన్నతస్థాయి హోదా ఎలా ఇస్తారంటూ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వంపై పలువురు మండిపడుతున్నారు. ట్విటర్‌ వేదికగా దీనిపై ప్రశ్నల వర్షం కురిపిస్తున్నారు. మరోవైపు ప్రతిపక్ష కాంగ్రెస్‌ కూడా దీనిపై విమర్శలు గుప్పించింది. రిలయన్స్‌ ఫౌండేషన్‌కు అనుకూలంగా కేంద్రం ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుందని దుయ్యబట్టింది. ఈ మేరకు కాంగ్రెస్‌ పార్టీ తన అధికారిక ట్విటర్‌ ఖాతాలో ట్వీట్‌ చేసింది. ‘ముకేశ్‌, నీతా అంబానీకి అనుకూలంగా భాజపా ప్రభుత్వం మరోసారి పనిచేసింది. ఇంకా ప్రారంభం కాని జియో ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్‌కే శ్రేష్ఠతర హోదా ఇచ్చారు. ఏ ప్రమాణాల ఆధారంగా ఈ హోదా ఇచ్చారనే దానిపై ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టతనివ్వాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది’ అని కాంగ్రెస్‌ ట్వీట్‌ ద్వారా ప్రశ్నించింది. అయితే కాంగ్రెస్‌ ట్వీట్‌పై విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల నిధుల సంఘం(యూజీసీ) స్పందించింది. గ్రీన్‌ఫీల్డ్‌ సంస్థల కేటగిరి కింద జియోకు ఈ హోదా ఇచ్చినట్లు స్పష్టం చేసింది. ఈ కేటగిరి కింద మొత్తం 11 విద్యాసంస్థలు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోగా.. వాటిల్లో జియోను ఎంపిక చేసినట్లు తెలిపింది.
