Sectors ignored by CBN: Entertainment Sector

Movie, Television and other Entertainment Industry:-

This sector is heavily ignored. Immediatly new encouragement policy required by govt. just like they did with AP ITeS policy. They should give benefits all entertainment studios, production house, TV channels who files corporate ITIR and other returns in AP than other states. They should give even more rayitees and subsidees if they employ AP people from AP associations having ITIR filed from AP.

They should give GST or VAT subsidies or whatsoever required for New TV channels and Movies who only take content produced in AP and employs AP people. initially for them. Also they should heavily tax all TV channels and  movies actors who does not file ITIR from AP.  also should heavily tax movies at cinema theatres which are not produced in AP and production houses if they don't file corporate ITIR and GST other tax returns from AP.

Due to lack of this measures, TG is eating almost 5000 crores of tax revenue for this sector. Don't know why but it is heavily ignored. Atleast lokesh look after this policy and sector with immediate attention.

if one movie produced with 35 cr budget, expect atleast 45% tax payment to govt.  (previously TDS now GST on service and merchandise). That means atleast 8 Cr amount of tax goes to TG govt. though both does belong to AP.

malli reverse lo CBN ee movie actors thonu, aa mukkodi thone dobbinchukovali development ledu ani, democracy ledu ani. AP state nandi awards ki kuda respect ivvaru. Govt. events ki kuda attand avvaru ee sodi actors.

Since this sector is ignored, TG is eating around 5000 Cr revenue in this sector every year. why CBN cares about TG anymore as TDP might take another 10 years to revive atleast.

this number looks bit exaggeration. film industry alone is much less. Recently, D.Suresh said some thing like 2000 crores. and lot of it is black. note that it is total revenue (not the tax).

the figure includes revenue generated from production services, merchandise rentals, direct employees, indirect employees, film related studio revenues etc. it will be 5000 Cr minimum.
