These companies will be visiting Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh to explore investment opportunities to set up local manufacturing base. "If these companies choose to invest here, there is an investment opportunity of over Rs 15,000 crore and can generate employment for over 50,000 people," Jain said. sonykongara Posted April 9, 2018 Share Posted April 9, 2018 షియోమిలో 50వేల ఉద్యోగాలు! ముంబయి: ‘మేకిన్‌ ఇండియా’లో భాగంగా చైనాకు చెందిన ప్రముఖ మొబైల్‌ తయారీ సంస్థ షియోమి భారత్‌లో భారీగా పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టనుంది. చైనా తర్వాత భారత్‌ను మరో ప్రధాన కేంద్రంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు సన్నాహాలు చేస్తోంది. దేశీయంగా పరిశ్రమలను ఏర్పాటు చేసి, ఇక్కడి వారికి ఉపాధి కల్పించాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతో ప్రధాని నరేంద్రమోదీ ‘మేకిన్‌ ఇండియా’కు పిలుపునిచ్చిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో భారత విపణిలో అతి తక్కువ కాలంలోనే వేగంగా విస్తరించిన షియోమి త్వరలోనే ఇక్కడ మరికొన్ని పరిశ్రమలను ఏర్పాటు చేయనుంది. ఇందుకోసం 2.5బిలియన్‌ డాలర్లను పెట్టుబడిగా పెట్టనుంది. తద్వారా 50వేలమందికి ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలను కల్పించనుంది. దేశీయంగా స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్‌ల తయారీని పెంచాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతో విడిభాగాలపై దిగుమతి సుంకాన్ని 10శాతం మేర ప్రభుత్వం పెంచిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. పాపులేటెడ్‌ ప్రింటెడ్‌ సర్క్యూట్‌ బోర్డ్స్‌(పీసీబీ)లతో సహా పలు పరికరాలపై సుంకాన్ని పెంచారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో భారత్ ప్రధాన కేంద్రంగా తన సేవలను మరింత విస్తరించాలని షియోమి నిర్ణయించింది. త్వరలోనే మూడు స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్‌ ప్లాంట్‌లను ఏర్పాటు చేయనుంది. ఇప్పటికే చెన్నైలోని మౌంట్‌ టెక్నాలజీ ప్లాంట్‌లో పీసీబీలను తయారు చేస్తున్నారు. దీనితో పాటు ఫాక్స్‌కాన్‌తో కలిసి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ శ్రీసిటీ, తమిళనాడులోని శ్రీపెరంబదూర్‌లలో క్యాంపస్‌లను ఏర్పాటు చేయనుంది. ‘ఫాక్స్‌కాన్‌ భాగస్వామ్యంతో శ్రీపెరంబదూర్‌లో పీసీబీ అసెంబ్లింగ్‌ యూనిట్‌ను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తాం. భారత్‌లో తయారీకి మేము కట్టుబడి ఉన్నాం. ఫోన్‌ విలువలో 50శాతం పీసీబీలదే ఉంటుంది. మూడో త్రైమాసికానికి దేశీయంగా పీసీబీలను తయారు చేసి అసెంబ్లింగ్‌ చేస్తాం. ఇందుకోసం రూ.15వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడి పెట్టనున్నాం. తద్వారా 50వేల కొత్త ఉద్యోగాలను సృష్టించనున్నాం’ అని షియోమి ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు, ఎండీ(భారత్) మను కుమార్‌ జైన్‌ తెలిపారు.
