Another issue is with the current state of finances in the state there are projects which will have a bigger impact if 3k is allotted to them. So we are in a state where even though people voluntarily give land, govt not in a position to pay them. Also govt wouldn't want to deal with the issues that arise out of land acquisitions in the last year before elections. So probably they will take it slow for now and it will only pick pace during next term. Also for now at least this road is not a big deal for the state. Also for now at least this road is not a big deal for the state. yes its not a big deal . we can build it after 2034. rayalaseema people doesn't need to come to capital , as they will go to hyderabad,chennai, bangalore for jobs. we can decentralize ruling through information technology . i mean online helps in getting certificates or government approvals etc . setup one highcourt bench in rayalaseema to take care legal issues. people need water. first complete godavari-penna . later take up expressway . otherwise land prices skyrocket which makes it impossible to acquire land for godavari-penna link canal. in 1995-2004 cbn focussed on roads neglected irrigation. 2004-2009 ysr focussed irrigation and neglected roads. ysr priorities are right but corruption is high. cbn corruption is less but he needs to set right his priorities which will enhance prospects of winning polls.
