rama123 Posted March 18, 2018 Share Posted March 18, 2018 Ranjanna-Sircilla: Sircilla Municipal chairperson Samala Pavani on Saturday said “taking percentages from contractors was a common phenomenon.” Disclosing details about the municipal Budget meeting to mediapersons on Saturday, she said it was not proper to politicise the issue of taking commissions from contractors since it was a routine practice in every municipality of the State. “One to two percent commission is common. Two to three percent is being given in some municipalities” she said. “Is it wrong to take commission since councillors too had contested the elections by spending money?” she asked.
