nuvvu aa articles nammithe boodida avuthavu maastaru in stock market. i myself is victim of this long term capital gain tax. i am holding many stocks for long term in india. because of this tax i would have to pay 10% of my earnings to this new LTCG. so essentially i have to pay 50k Rs per 5 lac earnings. he hitted my pocket.

last year he hitted with 44% tax on derivatives (options trading). now this 10% new tax on equity. he is killing middle class.

Ok just another perspective so posted, he is targeting corporates but u r caught in the crossfire looks like

jan 31 before no issues kadha. Also tax on only gains above 1lakh kadha so small traders ki pedda effect padadha or it should be made 3/5 laks

As our system is not fully structured, its bound to happen;  Usually our guys also follow or model by noticing western countries' tax systems.  As long as they model some tight financial growth oriented systems, it is okay. Our Indian policy makers should not be tempted to Tax & splurge like  liberal & socialistic western European countries....Always, less taxes are better as a rule of thumb, not to be forgotten....Having said that, relatively this appears far better than countries like Canada(do not know the number, but it sure must be high) etc for example.....
