He never /hardly encourage someone to grow / gain popularity. It's hard to produce stalwarts like erranaidu, deverdar goud or paritala ravi.. etc Name one leader who is atleast 50% popular as above mentioned during their prime time in politics? A Politician looks to the next election while a statesman looks for the future generation.....NTR is not a politician, he is a statesman.... I dont think NTR had any of these calculations in mind while conceiving such a scheme....its not that he is unaware of the economics that goes into this scheme....but his intensions and spirit were altogether at a different level.....at best this view represents the view of a bureaucrat and at worst the view of a retail shop owner...and fortunately NTR is neither of them......cant attribute it to NTR....
