King Of Box Office, Queen Of Boxoffice, Blockbuster Movie Award, Captain Of The Ship Award, Boy Next Door, Girl Next Door, Comedy Khiladi Award, South Sensation Of The Year, Surprise Hit Of The Year, Newbie Of The Year Male and Newbie Of The Year Female. The nominations were based on the last year’s performance of various actors and actresses.Young Tiger Jr.NTR won the award for King of Box office as he scored two blockbuster movies Nannaku Prematho and Janatha Garage last year whereas gorgeous diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been awarded as Queen of Box office for her successful ventures A..Aa and Janatha Garage. The awards was judged on the basis of the votes of the fans/audience for their choices in different categories. Samantha also got the fittest star of the year award. Both the stars received their awards at the presentation ceremony.Keerthy Suresh won the award in the category of best newbie of the year. It was a two day award function dedicated to the four industries down South – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam awards. Quite a few stars from the all the industries made it to this glitzy event. Apart from this event, there was Dulquer’s upcoming movie – Comrade in America’s teaser that made news. Naga Chaitanya released two looks form his upcoming movie. Prithviraj’s next with his brother Indrajit – Tiyaan has garnered praise across industries. IIFA Utsavam 2017 – The second edition of this Awards function was a two day event held between 28th March – 29th March in Hyderabad. It was event dedicated to the best of south indian cinema across four industries – Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. Dulquer, R Madhavan, Jr NTR, Samantha Ruth Prabhu were declared winners in the Best Actor/Best Actress category. Malayalam movie Charlie and Telugu movie Janatha Garage dominated the award scenes on both nights. He plays a Kottayam based local man Aji John who is a communist through and through. In search of his girlfriend, he arrives at USA. that’s when his real adventure unfolds as he discovers unknown things about his lover. Dulquer as the hardcore communist nails it and how. The movie is set to release on May 5th. He will be seen alongside his brother – Indrajit. He plays a character who goes by the name – Aslan Muhammed, while his brother plays another prominent intense character. The teaser’s rich cinematography and the powerful star cast has got fans talking. Even Karan Johar couldn’t help but praise Prithviraj for the interesting teaser. This is the fourth part of the Major Mahadevan series. Mohanlal will play a dual role in this film – Major Mahadevan and his father Sahadevan. Reportedly, the film is based on a true story. It explores the friendship between two Army officials. Mohanlal’s heroism in this intense promo was impressive and impassioned. Rarandoi Veduka Chudham – Nagarjuna launched the first look of Naga Chaitanya’s next film. It promises to be a family entertainer. The movie also stars Rakul Preet Singh.
