Young Tiger NTR's latest film 'Janatha Garage', which was released on September 1st, completed 50 days at the box office on 20th October, today.

The film's producers have officially confirmed that the movie has successfully completed 50 days run in 39 centres. Completing 50 days run in close to 40 theatres is truly a gigantic feat even for a blockbuster film.

Although the movie received mixed talk on Day One, it went on to become a huge blockbuster at the box office, thanks to the adulation of Telugu movie lovers. As of now, Janatha Garage is the highest grossing Telugu film of 2016 and the third All Time Highest grosser. The film has minted over Rs 80 crore share by now.

NTR has been waiting for a blockbuster for many years and Janatha Garage has quenched his and his fans' thirst.

These Media Critics shamefully even from 'The Hindu', 'The Express' (who are just as stupid) on the first day right after premier without wasting time (just few minutes after premier) made their blatant criticism without realizing that it is people who will decide not these single person lop-headed critics sent from these newspapers/media influenced by political camps. Some stooped even to the extent saying "man the movie is too good to watch and it does not have comedians"?

Not just anyone, but Rio Olympics silver medalist PV Sindhu and her coach Pullela Gopichand watched Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage on Sunday and appreciated the unit for making this film.

“I enjoyed Janatha Garage. Jr NTR gave a superb performance. Congratulations to the team,” said PV Sindhu.

Gopichand also echoed the ace shuttler’s sentiments praising the movie crew. “The film is very nice. Jr NTR and Mohan Lal gave excellent performances. I congratulate the team and director Koratala Siva for coming up with such a nice film,” he said.

Pullela Gopichand and PV Sindhu watched Janatha Garage in Hyderabad along with their families. They were also accompanied by Hyderabad Badminton Association president Chamundeswarnath. They watched the film at Prasad Labs in the city. The movie producer Naveen Yerneni also thanked Gopichand and Sindhu for the compliments.

Under Koratala Siva’s direction, Janatha Garage has become the second fastest grosser after Baahubali in Tollywood to join the Rs 100 crore-club. The movie also featured Mohanlal, Nithya Menen and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in key roles.

The movie had a massive start, minting around Rs 21 crore on day one and has become the fastest grossing film for Jr NTR in his acting career. It is Tarak’s fourth movie to have crossed the mark. The movie also had been reportedly made out of a budget of Rs 40 crore.

Janatha Garage was released on over 2000 screens across the globe including 1000 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, around 550 screens in other parts of India and 400 screens in the international markets.

Jr NTR's Janatha Garage mints Rs 100 crore worldwide

Jr NTR's Telugu action drama Janatha Garage, which hit the screens on September 1, has grossed over Rs 100 crore worldwide, barely in a week.

Actor Jr. NTR is delighted with the response and thanks the audiences for their support.

Speaking about the film's success, Jr NTR said, "It feels good and I thank audiences for the support. I am very happy about the film's performance at the box-office. As for the numbers game, I have said it earlier; I do not attach much importance to it. Doing good films that appeal to me as an actor is more important to me."

ఎన్టీఆర్ తాజా సినిమా ‘జనతా గ్యారేజ్’ బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద కాసుల వర్షం కురిపిస్తోంది. రెండు రోజుల్లోనే రూ. 50 కోట్ల మార్క్ ను దాటేసింది. కొరటాల శివ దర్శకత్వంలో ద్విభాషా చిత్రంగా తెరకెక్కిన ఈ సినిమా భారీ ఓపెనింగ్ కలెక్షన్లు సాధించింది. కబాలి(రూ.87.5 కోట్లు), బాహుబలి(రూ.73 కోట్లు) తర్వాత అత్యధిక ఓపెన్సింగ్ వసూళ్లు సాధించిన సినిమాగా నిలియింది.

గురువారం ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వచ్చిన ‘జనతా గ్యారేజ్’ తొలి రోజే రూ. 41 కోట్లు రాబట్టింది. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో మొదటి రోజు రూ.21 కోట్లు వసూలు చేసింది. అమెరికాలో తొలి మూడు రోజుల్లో రూ. 6.34 కోట్లు కలెక్షన్లు సాధించిందని ట్రేడ్ ఎనలిస్ట్ తరణ్ ఆదర్శ్ వెల్లడించారు. రూ. 40 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో ఈ సినిమా తెరకెక్కినట్టు సమాచారం. ఈ లెక్కన చూస్తే ఈ సినిమా సూపర్ హిట్ అంటున్నారు. లాంగ్ వీకెండ్ ఉండటం వరుసగా సెలవులు కూడా రావటంతో కలెక్షన్లు మరింత పెరిగే అవకాశముందని విశ్లేషకులు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు.

బాహుబలిని జనతా గ్యారేజ్ బీట్ చేసిందా? నిజమా? అని ఆశ్చర్యపోతున్నారు కదూ.. నిజమే అంటున్నాయి గణాంకాలు. కొరటాల శివ-ఎన్టీఆర్ కాంబినేషన్‌లో తెరకెక్కిన జనతా గ్యారేజ్ నిన్న ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా భారీ అంచనాల నడుమ విడుదలైంది. ఫస్ట్ షో కాస్త డివైడ్ టాక్ వచ్చినప్పటికీ సాయంత్రం కల్లా అన్ని చోట్ల సూపర్ హిట్ టాక్ సొంతం చేసుకున్న జనతా గ్యారేజ్.. ఫస్ట్ డే టాప్ కలెక్షన్స్ వసూళ్లలో రికార్డు సాధించింది.

ఇంకా ఎన్టీఆర్‌కు మంచి పట్టు ఉన్న గుంటూరు, కృష్ణ ఏరియాల్లో జనతా గ్యారేజ్, బాహుబలి రికార్డ్స్‌ను బ్రేక్ చేసింది. కృష్ణా జిల్లాలో బాహుబలి రూ.1.98 కోట్లు సాధించగా, జనతా గ్యారేజ్ 1.54 కోట్ల మాత్రమే షేర్లు రాబట్టింది. అయితే గుంటూరులో బాహుబలి రూ.2.54 కోట్ల రికార్డును గ్యారేజ్ రూ.2.58 కోట్ల రూపాయల వాటాలతో అధిగమించింది. వైజాగ్‌లో బాహుబలి రూ. 1.75 కోట్లు సాధించగా, గ్యారేజ్ రూ.2.29 కోట్లు రాబట్టింది. తూర్పు గోదావరిలోనూ రూ.1.98 కోట్ల బాహుబలి రికార్డును గ్యారేజ్ రూ. 2.28 కోట్లతో బ్రేక్ చేసింది. వరుస సెలవులు రావడంతో జనతా కలెక్షన్స్ మరింత జోరు అందుకుంటాయని సినీ పండితులు చెపుతున్నారు.

మరోవైపు మలయాళంలో బాహుబలి సినిమా రూ.3.25 కోట్లకి అమ్ముడు పోయిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఇప్పటివరకూ అత్యధిక రేటు పలికిన తెలుగు సినిమా బాహుబలి మాత్రమే. ప్రస్తుతం ఈ రికార్డును కూడా ఎన్టీఆర్ గ్యారేజ్ బ్రేక్ చేసింది. ఈ సినిమాలో ఎక్కువ మలయాళ స్టార్స్ ఊండతో దానితో ఈ సినిమాకి మలయాళ రైట్స్ కోసం బంపర్ ప్రైజ్ పలికింది.

ఈ సినిమాని క్యాష్ చేసుకోవడం కోసం ఓ ఫేమస్ కేరళ డిస్ట్రిబ్యూషన్ సంస్థ ‘జనత గ్యారేజ్’ రైట్స్‌ని తీసుకున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. సుమారు రూ.4.2 కోట్లకి జనత గ్యారేజ్ మలయాళ డబ్బింగ్ వెర్షన్ రైట్స్ తీసుకున్న సంగతి విదితమే.

Janatha Garage Collection 2nd Day JG 1st Friday Box Office Report: NTR is back with a never-ending buzz, breaking his records to be the number one Telugu superstar. Junior NTR’s Janatha Garage movie had earned more than 45 crore rupees as its first-day box office collections to be the biggest ever opener in entire Tollywood industry of 2016. The figure was even higher than Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh.

The flick’s first day collection were around 41 crore rupees (gross) from around the world, while the “Janatha Garage Second day collection” stands at a figure of 33 crore rupees. The response is great as it has laid down new expectations in the BO.

JG stays as the most talked about the film during the last year and this year as well. The tickets were priced like anything with almost houseful shows all the time. Being a big budget film, “Movie had all the top names in the lead cast including Jr NTR, Samantha, Mohanlal and Devi Sri Prasad which had ultimately benefited the film in getting a real hype around the corner.

Junior NTR's "Janatha Garage" has crossed Rs. 50-crore mark at the global box office. After registering an earth-shattering opening, the Junior NTR-starrer pulled the audience to theatre in decent numbers on its second day. Hence, the Telugu film has managed to perform well despite Friday, Sept. 2 being a Bharath bandh.

Junior NTR's "Janatha Garage" created a history by becoming the third biggest opener of South India by earning Rs. 41 crore. The bilingual movie is now next only to Rajinikanth's "Kabali" and SS Rajamouli's "Bahubali" aka "Baahubali, " which had collected Rs. 87.5 crore and Rs. 73 crore, respectively.

As per trade expert Andhra Box Office, "Janatha Garage" has crossed the Rs.50-crore mark on its second day as it added over Rs. 15 crore. The significant dip in collections was a natural phenomenon as the first day always had the advantage of special shows. Also, the Bharath bandh factor had some impact on its business. It has to be noted that a section of trade experts had expected the film to cross Rs. 60 crore in two days.
