రాష్ట్రంలోని నాలుగు నగరాల్లో ఐటీ టవర్లను నిర్మించాలని రాష్ట్ర మంత్రివర్గం నిర్ణయించింది. రానున్న శాసనసభ, మండలి సమావేశాల్లో ప్రవేశపెట్టాల్సిన నాలుగు బిల్లులకు ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. కాకినాడలో గ్యాస్‌ నిల్వ కేంద్రాన్ని నిర్మించాలని తీర్మానించింది. మంగళవారం విజయవాడలో సమావేశమైన మంత్రివర్గం వీటితోపాటు పలు కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంది. శాసనసభ సమావేశాలకు ఇప్పటికే నోటిఫికేషన్‌ ఇచ్చినందున ఈ నిర్ణయాలను అధికారికంగా వెల్లడించలేదు. విశ్వసనీయ వర్గాల సమాచారం ప్రకారం... మంత్రివర్గంలో తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాలివీ...

కాకినాడలో గ్యాస్‌ నిల్వ కేంద్రం: రూ.1,010 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో కాకినాడలో గ్యాస్‌ నిల్వ కేంద్రం ఏర్పాటు. ఇందులో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ రంగ సంస్థ గెయిల్‌ 50 శాతం, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థలైన ఏపీఐఐసీ, జెన్‌కోలు మిగిలిన 50శాతం భాగస్వామ్యం కలిగి ఉంటాయి. 2018 నాటికి పూర్తి చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్న ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుకయ్యే వ్యయంలో 80శాతాన్ని రుణంగా తీసుకుంటారు. ఇది పూర్తయ్యాక కాకినాడ నుంచి శ్రీకాకుళం వరకు ఇళ్లకు, పారిశ్రామిక అవసరాలకు గ్యాస్‌ సరఫరా చేస్తారు. ప్రస్తుతం దేశానికి పశ్చిమ తీరంలోనే ఇలాంటి గ్యాస్‌ నిల్వ కేంద్రం ఉంది. మన రాష్ట్రంలో ఇది ఏర్పాటైతే తక్కువ ధరకే గ్యాస్‌ అందుబాటులోకి వస్తుంది.

నాలుగుచోట్ల ఐటీ టవర్ల నిర్మాణం: విజయవాడ, విశాఖపట్నం, తిరుపతి, అనంతపురంలలో ఒక్కోటి 10లక్షల చదరపు అడుగుల విస్తీర్ణంలో ఐటీ టవర్ల నిర్మాణం. పెట్టుబడులు, మౌలిక వసతులశాఖ పీపీపీ (ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేట్‌ భాగస్వామ్యం) విధానంలో వీటిని నిర్మిస్తుంది. వీటికి ప్రభుత్వం కనీస అద్దె హామీ ఇస్తుంది. ఆరు నెలల నుంచి ఏడాదిలోగా టవర్ల నిర్మాణం పూర్తికి నిర్ణయం.

కొత్త పాత్రలో ఏపీటీఎస్‌: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ టెక్నలాజికల్‌ సర్వీసెస్‌ సంస్థ ఇకపై కొత్త పాత్రలో ప్రొక్యూర్‌మెంట్‌ సంస్థగా అవతరించనుంది. రూ.50 లక్షలకు మించిన కొనుగోళ్లను ఇది చేస్తుంది. వినూత్నమైనవైతే రూ.50లక్షల లోపు విలువ కలిగిన వాటినీ కొనుగోలు చేస్తుంది. రాష్ట్రంలో సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌ అభివృద్ధి కోసం ఈ సంస్థ కృషి చేస్తుంది. సిస్టం ఇంటిగ్రేషన్‌ ప్రాజెక్టుల్లో భాగస్వామ్య పద్ధతిలో ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల్లో టెండర్లలో పాల్గొంటుంది. ఇకపై ప్రభుత్వానికి అవసరమైన సీసీటీవీలు, ల్యాప్‌ట్యాప్‌లు, ట్యాబ్‌లు, బయోమెట్రిక్‌ పరికరాలు తదితరాలన్నీ యాన్యుటీ విధానంలో కొనుగోలు చేస్తుంది.

ఎలక్ట్రానిక్‌ విధానంలోకి ఐవోటీ విధానం విలీనం: ఎలక్ట్రానిక్‌ విధానంలో ఐవోటీ (ఇంటర్‌నెట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ థింగ్స్‌) విధానం విలీనం. ఇందులో అన్ని రకాల ఐటీ సంబంధిత ఉత్పత్తులకు 25శాతం, ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, ఎంఎస్‌ఎం ఉత్పత్తులకు 30 శాతం చొప్పున సబ్సిడీ ఉంటుంది.

విద్యార్దుల భాగస్వామ్యం: లక్ష మంది ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ విద్యార్థుల్ని ప్రభుత్వ జల సంరక్షణ కార్యక్రమాల్లో భాగస్వాముల్ని చేయడంతోపాటు 8, ఆపై తరగతులు చదివే విద్యార్థులను వనం-మనం, స్వచ్ఛాంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ సహా జల సంరక్షణ కార్యక్రమాల్లో ప్రతి శనివారం పాల్గొనేలా చూడాలని నిర్ణయం.

డిజిటల్‌ అక్షరాస్యతలో విద్యార్థులకు ప్రోత్సాహకంగా స్మార్ట్‌ ఫోన్లు: విద్యార్థుల ద్వారా డిజిటల్‌ అక్షరాస్యతను విస్తరింపజేయాలని నిర్ణయం. వీరికి ప్రోత్సాహకంగా స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్లుఇవ్వాలనినిశ్చయం. డిజిటల్‌ స్టేట్‌గా రాష్ట్రాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేయడం. జిల్లాలు, రాష్ట్ర స్థాయిలో ఇన్నోవేషన్‌ సొసైటీలు ఏర్పాటు చేయడం లక్ష్యం.

కర్నూలు జిల్లా పాలకొలనులో పరిశ్రమల హబ్‌: కర్నూలు జిల్లా ఓర్వకల్లు మండలం పాలకొలను, మరో పది గ్రామాల పరిధిలోని 7,214.87 ఎకరాల భూమి పరిశ్రమలహబ్‌ ఏర్పాటుకు ఏపీఐఐసీకి ప్రాథమిక ధరకి కేటాయింపు.విశాఖపట్నంజిల్లా అచ్యుతాపురం మండలం దుప్పిటూరులో 61.63 ఎకరాల భూమి సెజ్‌ విస్తరణకు ఎకరా రూ.12 లక్షల చొప్పున కేటాయింపు. ఇదే మండలంలోని అందాలపల్లిలో సుమారు ఎకరా స్థలం పర్యాటకులకు వసతులు కల్పించేందుకు కేటాయింపు.

ఇతర నిర్ణయాలు

* పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో అక్టోబరు 2వతేదీ నాటికి బహిరంగ మల విసర్జన లేకుండా చూడటం.

* కమాండ్‌ కంట్రోల్‌ కేంద్రం నుంచి మంత్రులు, శాఖాధికారులతో కలిసి రియల్‌ టైం పరిపాలన.

* ఏపీ బీసీ కమిషన్‌ సిఫారసుల మేరకు వెనకబడిన తరగతుల జాబితాలోని సీరియల్‌ నెంబరు 37 గ్రూప్‌-ఎలో ప్రస్తుతమున్న వడ్డె, వడ్డీలు, వడ్డి, వడ్డెలు అనే పదాలకు పర్యాయపదాలుగా వడ్డెర, వడ్డబోవి, వడ్డియరాజ్‌, వడ్డెర అనే పదాల చేర్పు.

నాలుగు బిల్లులకు ఆమోదం

1 ఆచార్య ఎన్‌.జి.రంగా విశ్వవిద్యాలయ చట్ట సవరణ: ప్రైవేటు కళాశాలలను ఈ విశ్వవిద్యాలయానికి అనుబంధంగా మార్చేందుకు ఈ సవరణ వీలు కల్పిస్తుంది. ఇప్పటికే ఈ అంశంపై ఇచ్చిన ఆర్డినెన్స్‌ స్థానంలో చట్ట సవరణ బిల్లును రానున్న శాసనసభ, మండలి సమావేశాల్లో పెడతారు. వైఎస్‌ఆర్‌ ఉద్యాన విశ్వవిద్యాలయానికి అనుబంధంగా సైతం ప్రైవేటు కళాశాలలను అనుమతించేలా చట్ట సవరణ ఉంటుంది.

2 డబుల్‌ రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ల నిరోధంపై: స్టాంపులు, రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ల చట్టం-1908ని సవరిస్తూ బిల్లు. ఒకే భూమిని ఇద్దరికి రిజిష్టరు చేయడానికి వీలు లేకుండా చట్ట సవరణ.

3 ఏపీ వ్యాట్‌ చట్టానికి సవరణ: పర్యాటక ప్రాంతాల్లోని 3 స్టార్‌, 5 స్టార్‌ హోటళ్లలో వ్యాట్‌ను 14.5శాతం నుంచి 5శాతానికి తగ్గించేలా వ్యాట్‌ చట్టానికి సవరణ. దీంతోపాటు మొబైల్‌ ఫోన్లపై ఉన్న వ్యాట్‌ను 5 శాతానికి తగ్గించేలా చట్ట సవరణ.

జీఎస్‌టీపై...: వస్తు, సేవల బిల్లుకు (జీఎస్‌టీ) సంబంధించి పార్లమెంటు ఉభయ సభలూ ఆమోదించిన 122వ రాజ్యాంగ సవరణ బిల్లు-2014కు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ శాసనసభ మద్దతిస్తూ బిల్లు.

హైదరాబాద్‌, సెప్టెంబరు 9(ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): తమ ప్రభుత్వం పారిశ్రామికాభివృద్ధికి పెద్ద పీట వేసిందని, పరిశ్రమల ఏర్పాటు కోసం రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 27,537.8 ఎకరాలు సేకరించిందని ఆర్థిక మంత్రి యనమల రామకృష్ణుడు ప్రకటించారు. పారిశ్రామికాభివృద్ధిపై శుక్రవారం శాసనమండలి ప్రశ్నోత్తరాల సమయంలో గుండుమల తిప్పేస్వామి అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు మంత్రి సమాధానం చెప్పారు. విజయనగరంలో 36.21 ఎకరాలు, విశాఖపట్టణంలో 1011.73, తూర్పు గోదావరిలో 142.35, కృష్ణాలో 1144.93, ప్రకాశం జిల్లాలో 4289.35, నెల్లూరు జిల్లాలో 1565.56, చిత్తూరు జిల్లాలో 2541.65, కడప జిల్లాలో 128.06, అనంతపురం జిల్లాలో 4024.98, కర్నూలు జిల్లాలో 12652.98 ఎకరాలు సేకరించామని తెలిపారు. శ్రీకాకుళం, పశ్చిమగోదావరి, గుంటూరులో భూసేకరణ చేయలేదని చెప్పారు.

Giving a major boost to the food processing sector in the state, Toyota Tsusho Sugar Trading Ltd. is all set to start a processing plant in Nellore with an investment of Rs. 400 crores. Representatives from Toyota Tsusho Hiroyuki Ikeda, CEO and Richard O’Connor, Director of Sugar Trading met CBN today to discuss the modalities. The plant will generate 1500 jobs for the local population.

Vital Paper to set up a packaging unit in Sri City

Singapore-based Vital Paper Products, which currently produces office and school stationery among other paper products at its existing units in Sri City, has laid the foundation stone for a new corrugated packaging division with an investment of Rs 60-crore. To be set up on a 2.8-acre plot, the packaging unit will house a four-colour printing facility, which is expected to be ready by next April. It is expected to employ 70 persons.

In 2013, Vital Paper Products had set up two units in Sri City, one at the Domestic Tariff Zone (DTZ) and the other at Special Economic Zone (SEZ) with making an investment of Rs 300-crore. The packaging unit will come up in the SEZ.

The proposed new division, which will make corrugated packaging material with four colour printing, rotary slotted cartons, open and pre-fold trays and telescopic corrugated cartons, is expected to be ready by April 2017.

Sri City: An impetus to packaging
Spread over 7,500 acres in Andhra Pradesh, Sri City is an integrated business city situated 55km north of Chennai. It is well-connected by rail and road networks and has access to four ports and four airports.

Sri City has at present 108 units set up by companies from 26 countries which are either operational or under construction. These companies have committed an investment of Rs. 23,000-crore.

The industrial park has seen a lot of traction from FMCG and food companies thanks to a combination of strategic location, modern facilities and subsidies. To name a few, PepsiCo, Mondelez, Kellogg’s, and Colgate-Palmolive have made investments to set up manufacturing bases in Sri City. While just outside the business park, companies like ITC, Britannia, Heritage Foods, Godrej Agrovet and Godfrey Phillips have started setting up operations.

Besides the food and FMCG firms, a host of electronics and automobile companies are also setting up their manufacturing bases in Sri City.

Taking a cue, major packaging converters are eyeing investments in Sri City.

In 2015, Rexam had announced that it has obtained land in Sri City. The plant represented an initial investment of close to 50 million pounds (approximately Rs 479-crore) and was supposed to add a total production capacity of 800 million cans.

Earlier this year, in January, Faridabad-based Khemka Containers (KCL) said it plans to set up a Rs 100-crore unit in Sri City. KCL is one of the leading and largest companies in the paper printing and packaging industry in India. It was listed as one of the 'Top 10 corrugators in India' by PrintWeek India in its special publication The 1000 in 2012. The Sri City plant was to occupy a 10-acre plot and provide employment opportunities for about 200 people.

Besides this, in March, Parksons Packaging, a Mumbai-based manufacturer and exporters of printed and laminated folding cartons, announced setting up a manufacturing base at Sri City with an outlay of Rs 70-crore.

According to experts, the packaging industry in South India will get a major impetus thanks to the investments in the Sri City business park.

Belgium-based wheelchair maker, Vermeiren, is looking at selling around 40,000 wheelchair units in India by 2020.

The company — which is launching its manufacturing facility in the integrated business city called Sri City, located near Chennai — will offer its products to both India and overseas from the country, said Patrick Vermeiren, managing director and chief executive officer for Vermeiren Group NV. The first phase of facility has been completed with an investment of around Rs 40 crore to manufacture 30,000 wheel chairs, in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of the Sri City.

The company will invest an additional Rs 30 crore in a second phase expansion, to increase the capacity to One lakh units of wheel chairs and 25,000 hospital beds. The expansion is planned to be in 2018. The facility in India is expected to help the company in reducing costs, including the import tariff for finished goods and time taken for delivery.

 

"While the manufacturing facility in the SEZ would cater to Middle East, far east and European market, over a period of next five years, we plan to have around 40 per cent of the production to be sold in India itself," said vermeiren. The company will also open a research and development (R&D) centre in the facility, which would work with the global R&D team for both global products and also India specific projects.

He said that wheelchair demand in the country is around 1.2 million, of which only 10-15 per cent is addressed by various Indian and overseas companies at present. More than 50 per cent of this existing market is currently addressed by Chinese players. The company is looking at a market share in the existing market and also to increase its penetration to newer markets.

With around five to six dealers at present, of which majority are in South India, the company is looking at appointing at least one dealer in a state, who will also offer aftersales services, said Syed Riaz Qadri, managing director, Vermeiren India Rehab.

If it finds that the Indian market is growing faster, the company might also look at setting up a facility in the domestic tariff area in future, said Marcel Van Herck, global advisor of Vermeiren Group.

The company selected Sri City for manufacturing considering its accessibility to various ports, airports and national highways, apart from the proximity of the automobile hub in Chennai, which can offer components. The company already started manufacturing products in the facility and the localisation levels are around 50-60 per cent at present. The company plans to have entire production with vendor base in India, as it has worked out the model in China, said Herck.

Nod for mini fishing harbour in E. Godavari

The Rs. 22-cr. project is a joint initiative of Centre and State.

: The State government has accorded sanction for construction of a mini fishing harbour at Antervedipallipalem in East Godavari district at a cost of Rs. 22.38 crore.

The project is being constructed under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) with State and Central government funds. The Fisheries Department will allocate funds from Fisheries Development Scheme and Fish Policy. The mini harbour would be completed by October next year, said Commissioner of Fisheries Rama Shankar Naik.

Fishing harbour, also known as Fish Land Centre, will have the facility to halt mechanised boats, storage and auctioning the produce. The Executive Engineer, Godavari Head Works of Dowleswaram, will execute the works.

“A jetty will be constructed at the mini fishing harbour. It will benefit fishermen in East and West Godavari districts,” said Mr. Shankar Naik.

More in the offing

The Fisheries Department has identified Juvvaladinne in Nellore district, Vodarevu in Prakasam, Uppada and Biyyapu Tippa villages in East Godavari and Pudimadaka in Visakhapatnam districts for constructing mini harbours. Fish Land Centres would also be constructed on the coast in Srikakulam, Guntur and Krishna districts, he said.

“We have sent a proposal to the Government of India for constructing a harbour at Biyyapu Tippa in 25 acres, which was given to the Fisheries Department. The Nizampatnam and Machilipatnam and Krishnapatnam harbours will be developed in a phased manner,” he said.

Following the proposals, the Centre has entrusted Water and Power Consultancy Services Limited (WAPCOS) to take up investigation and prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR).

“Wapcos will study on the economic impact assessment, engineering, soil testing, technical feasibility and the estimations of the mini harbours in the State,” the Commissioner told The Hindu . The theme of constructing the projects is to improve infrastructure thereby helping the fishermen community for hygienic handling of fish, storage and marketing their produce

As there were no fishing harbours in Machilipatnam, Nizampatnam and Krishnapatnam, fishermen are finding it difficult to catch fish and many are migrating.

“There is a potential for fishing and boost the exports from Andhra Pradesh. Like other States, we are planning to set up hatcheries, processing, packing and export units in all coastal districts, which will improve the livelihood of fishermen,” Mr. Shankar Naik said.

విశాఖపట్నం (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): రక్షణ విభాగానికి సంబంధించిన షిప్‌ మాన్యుఫ్యాక్చరింగ్‌ హబ్‌ను విశాఖలో ఏర్పాటుచేయనున్నట్టు రష్యాకు చెందిన యునైటెడ్‌ షిప్‌ బిల్డింగ్‌ కార్పొరేషన్‌ ప్రెసిడెంట్‌ అలెక్సీ ఎల్‌ రక్‌మనోవ్‌ వెల్లడించారు. మంగళవారం నాడిక్కడ ‘రక్షణ ఉత్పత్తుల రంగంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌కు గల అవకాశాలు’ అనే అంశంపై ఇండో-రష్యన్‌ డిఫెన్స్‌ ఇండసీ్ట్ర ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో ఆయన ముఖ్య అతిధిగా పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ.. పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టేందుకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ అన్నివిధాలా అనుకూలంగా ఉందని, ప్రత్యేకించి విశాఖలో నౌకల తయారీ కోసం మాన్యుఫ్యాక్చరింగ్‌ హబ్‌ను ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్టు ప్రకటించారు. ఇక్కడ పరిశ్రమలను నెలకొల్పేందుకు కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు పూర్తిస్థాయిలో సహాయ సహకారాలను అందిస్తున్నాయని తెలిపారు. మాన్యుఫ్యాక్చరింగ్‌ హబ్‌తో పాటు ఇందుకు అవసరమైన అభ్యర్థులకు శిక్షణ ఇచ్చేందుకు ఇక్కడ విశ్వ విద్యాలయాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్టు ఆయన చెప్పారు. భారత, రష్యా దేశాలు చర్చించిన అనంతరం ఎన్ని కోట్ల రూపాయల పెట్టుబడులతో ఈ హబ్‌ను ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారనేది వెల్లడి చేయనున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.

 

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌కు మరిన్ని రష్యన్‌ కంపెనీలు

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో మరిన్ని రష్యన్‌ కంపెనీలు పరిశ్రమలు నెలకొల్పనున్నాయని ఎపి ఎకనామిక్‌ డెవల్‌పమెంట్‌ బోర్డు సిఇఒ జె కృష్ణ కిషోర్‌ అన్నారు. డిఫెన్స్‌, ఆటోమొబైల్‌ రంగాలలో ఉత్పత్తి యూనిట్లు వస్తే ఇక్కడ ఉపాధి పెరుగుతుందనే ఆలోచనతో ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు జూలై నెలలో రష్యా వెళ్లి అక్కడి కంపెనీలతో చర్చించారన్నారు. ఇందులో భాగంగానే రష్యన్‌ కంపెనీలు తాజాగా విశాఖలోనూ, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని ఇతర ప్రాంతాలలో పరిశ్రమలు పెట్టేందుకు సుముఖత చూపుతున్నారన్నారు. యునైటెడ్‌ షిప్‌ బిల్డింగ్‌ కార్పొరేషన్‌ ప్రపంచంలోనే అతిపెద్ద కంపెనీ అని ఆయన తెలిపారు. రక్షణ రంగ అవసరాలలో 95 శాతం తీరుస్తున్నది ఈ కంపెనీయేనని చెప్పారు. యునైటెడ్‌ షిప్‌ బిల్డింగ్‌ రాకంతో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌కు మరిన్ని కంపెనీలు వచ్చే అవకాశముందన్నారు. త్వరలో షిప్‌ మాన్యుఫ్యాక్చరింగ్‌ హబ్‌కు సంబంధించి ఈ కంపెనీతో ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకోనున్నట్లు కృష్ణ కిశోర్‌ తెలిపారు. ఢిపెన్స్‌ మాన్యుఫ్యాక్చరింగ్‌ యూనిట్ల ఏర్పాటుపై రష్యన్‌ కంపెనీతో ఒప్పందం చేసుకోబోతున్న మొట్టమొదటి రాష్ట్రం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ అని వాణిజ్య, పరిశ్రమల శాఖ కార్యదర్శి కార్తికేయ మిశ్రా తెలిపారు.

Japan’s Mayekawa Manufacturing ready to bring in Rs. 56,000 Crores worth investments to AP.

Japan’s Mayekawa Manufacturing Company executives met CBN yesterday and discussed the areas of collaboration. Mr. Yoshiro Tanaka, Chairman of Mayekawa Manufacturing has offered to support the State in bringing about technological improvements in the food processing sector of the State. Mr. Tanaka said that the company is looking to bring investments worth Rs. 56,000 Crores to the State.

CBN requested Mr. Tanaka to identify a potential site near Krishnapatnam port for exports and enquired about the major food imports that are required by Japan. Mr. Tanaka told him that India’s share of food exports to Japan is less and added that Japan has high demand for margarine oil, butter, chicken, tuna fish and shrimps. He also informed that Japan has greater demand for chicken (which they import from Brazil) than the current supply.

Below are some of the areas of cooperation between the CBN and Mayekawa are:
· GoAP and Mayekawa agreed to mutually identify the products which have the potential for processing and export from Andhra Pradesh;
· GoAP will do research on the quality requirements for exporting food products to Japan. GoAP will soon establish a regulatory body to oversee the Marine and Aqua food producesquality in the state.
· Initially, AP can start exporting Fish, Rice, Poultry & Milk-based products to Japan.
· An agribusiness group will be set up by GoAP involving CII and Mayekawa to attract Japanese investors to the state. This group will organize seminars in both Japan and Andhra Pradesh to inform investors regarding the opportunities in Food processing sector in the state.
· AP will build the food production capacity to meet Japanese requirements.

హైదరాబాద్‌, సెప్టెంబరు 17 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో పరిశ్రమలకు శుభవార్త. విద్యుత ధరలు పెరగడమే తప్ప.. తగ్గడమే లేని తరుణంలో పరిశ్రమలకు తక్కువ ధరకే విద్యుత సరఫరా చేయాలని నిర్ణయించారు. ఏపీ ట్రాన్స్‌కో సీఎండీ కె.విజయానంద్‌ అధ్యక్షతన జరిగిన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ పవర్‌ కోఆర్డినేషన్‌ కమిటీ (ఏపీపీసీసీ) సమావేశం శనివారం రాత్రి పొద్దుపోయేవరకు జరిగింది. ట్రాన్స్‌కో జేఎండీ పరుచూరి దినేశ్‌, ఈపీడీసీఎల్‌ సీఎండీ నాయక్‌, ఏపీఎస్పీడీసీఎల్‌ సీఎండీ హెచ్‌వై దొర తదితరులు పాల్గొన్న ఈ భేటీలో పారిశ్రామిక సంస్థలకు విద్యుత ప్రోత్సాహకాలను ఇవ్వాలని తీర్మానం చేశారు. విద్యుత సంస్థలు పూర్తిగా వ్యాపార ధోరణితో పనిచేస్తూ.. వినియోగదారులకు చౌకగా నాణ్యమైన విద్యుతను అందించడంపై దృష్టి సారించాలని తీర్మానించారు. విద్యుదుత్పత్తి వ్యయం 40 నుంచి 50 పైసల వరకూ తగ్గేందుకు వీలుగా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని.. డిస్కమ్‌లు కూడా ప్రత్యేక కార్యాచరణను సిద్ధం చేయాలని నిర్ణయించారు. సమావేశంలో తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాలు ఇవీ...

 

• విద్యుత్‌కు డిమాండ్‌ లేని సమయంలో.. ప్రస్తుత టారిఫ్‌ ధరకు కాకుండా.. బాగా తక్కువ ధరకు పరిశ్రమలకు కరెంటు సరఫరా చేయాలి.
• ప్రస్తుత ధరకు విద్యుత్ అందిస్తామంటే.. పలు పరిశ్రమలకు గిట్టుబాటు కావడం లేదు. సొంతగా విద్యుత సంస్థలు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవడం.. ప్రైవేటు ఆపరేటర్లతో నేరుగా ఒప్పందాలు చేసుకోవడం .. లేదంటే పవర్‌ ఎక్చైంజీ ద్వారా స్వాపింగ్‌ చేసుకోవడం వంటి చర్యలకు దిగుతున్నాయి. దీనివల్ల ప్రభుత్వ విద్యుత సంస్థ నష్టాలబారినపడే ప్రమాదం ఉంది. దీనిని నివారించాలంటే.. విద్యుత డిమాండ్‌లేని సమయంలో తక్కువ ధరకు, డిమాండ్‌ ఉన్న సమయంలో ప్రస్తుత టారిఫ్‌ ధరకు పరిశ్రమలకు కరెంటును అందించాలి. రాత్రి సమయంలోనూ తక్కువ ధరకే అందించాలి.
• భారీ పరిశ్రమలు ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల విద్యుత సంస్థల నుంచి కొనుగోళ్లు చేయకుండా నివారించేందుకు వాటికి ప్రత్యేక ప్రోత్సాహకాలు ఇవ్వాలి.
• వచ్చే ఏడాది వాస్తవ వ్యయ నివేదికలు అందించేలోగానే.. పొదుపు చర్యలు చేపట్టాలి. తద్వారా చార్జీలు పెరగకుండా చూడాలి.
