IT firm, Conduent Inc., will be investing ₹649 crore for their project in Visakhapatnam. The project includes diversified business process services and generates direct employment for 5,000 people.

 

Electronic manufacturing company, will set up an unit on 5 acres, for touch panel manufacturing, at Atchutapuram in Visakhapatnam district. Their investment amounts to ₹504.07 crore, and they commit to employ (direct) 300 people.

ఈనాడు, విశాఖపట్నం, ఆంధ్రవిశ్వవిద్యాలయం, న్యూస్‌టుడే: రాష్ట్ర రాజధాని అమరావతి అయినా.. విశాఖ ఆర్థిక రాజధానిగా ఉంటుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ నగరాన్ని పర్యాటకంగా సుందరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దే బాధ్యత తీసుకుంటానని, ప్రపంచంలో అందరూ ఎప్పుడెప్పుడు విశాఖకు వెళ్తామా..? అని భావించే పరిస్థితి తీసుకొస్తానని చెప్పారు. విశాఖలో మంగళవారం వివిధ అభివృద్ది పనుల శంకుస్థాపన, యుద్ధవిమాన ప్రదర్శనశాల, ఆనంద దీపావళి కార్యక్రమాల్లో ఆయన పాల్గొన్నారు. విశాఖలో అత్యంత రద్దీగా ఉండే ఎన్‌ఏడీ కూడలిలో రూ.113 కోట్ల అంచనా వ్యయంతో రోటరీ సపరేట్‌ మోడల్‌ పైవంతెనను నిర్మించనున్నారు. దీనికి ఆయన భూమిపూజ చేశారు. తొలుత కూడలిలోని అంబేడ్కర్‌ విగ్రహానికి పూలమాలలు వేసి నివాళులు అర్పించారు. మురికివాడలులేని విశాఖను తీర్చిదిద్దాలన్నది తన ఆలోచన అన్నారు. అందుకే అర్హులకు గృహాలు మంజూరు చేస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. రోటరీ మోడ్‌ సపరేట్‌ తరహా పైవంతెనను పాదచారులకు, పైన.. కింద నుంచి వెళ్లే వాహనాలకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బంది లేకుండా రెండంతస్థులుగా నిర్మిస్తున్నారని, దేశంలోనే ఇలాంటిది తొలి నిర్మాణమని వివరించారు. ఇంజినీర్లకు ఇదో ప్రయోగం అని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. 18 నుంచి 24 నెలల్లో పనులు పూర్తిచేయాలని గుత్తేదారుకుఆదేశించినట్లు చెప్పారు.

విశాఖలో యుద్ధ విమాన మ్యూజియం

భావితరాల్లో దేశభక్తి, స్ఫూర్తి నింపేందుకే విశాఖలో టి.యు.-142 యుద్ధవిమాన మ్యూజియాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నట్లు ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ ప్రదర్శనశాలకు ఆయన శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. నౌకాదళానికి చెందిన టి.యు.-142 యుద్ధవిమానం కార్గిల్‌ యుద్ధంతో పాటు, పలు ఆపరేషన్లలో 29 సంవత్సరాలు కీలక సేవలందించి... 30 వేల కిలోమీటర్లు తిరిగి శత్రువుల గుండెల్లో రైళ్లు పరిగెత్తించిందని వివరించారు. ఈ ప్రదర్శనశాల పిల్లల్లో స్ఫూర్తి నింపుతుందని, పర్యాటకానికి ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలుస్తుందని పేర్కొన్నారు. మిగిలిన పనులు కూడా వేగంగా పూర్తి చేసి డిసెంబరులో రాష్ట్రపతి చేతుల మీదుగా ప్రారంభోత్సవం చేయిస్తామని ప్రకటించారు. రాష్ట్రవాసులకు దీపావళి కానుకగా ఈ ప్రదర్శనశాలను ఇస్తున్నట్టు ప్రకటించారు. జలాంతర్గామి, యుద్ధవిమాన మ్యూజియం ఒకేచోట కొలువుదీరినప్రదేశం ప్రపంచంలోనే ఎక్కడా లేదని మంత్రి అఖిలప్రియ పేర్కొన్నారు. తూర్పునౌకాదళాధిపతి హెచ్‌.సి.ఎస్‌.బిస్త్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ విశాఖ సాగరతీరంలో ఒక పక్క ‘కిల్లర్‌’గా గుర్తింపు పొందిన జలాంతర్గామి ‘కురుసురా’... మరో పక్క జలాంతర్గాములను వేటాడే హంటర్‌గా పేరున్న ‘టి.యు.-142’ యుద్ధవిమానాన్ని మ్యూజియాలుగా ఏర్పాటు చేయడం అరుదైన ఘటనని పేర్కొన్నారు. వుడా వీసీ పి.బసంత్‌కుమార్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ ఎరోబ్రిడ్జ్‌, లిఫ్ట్‌, సావనీర్‌షాప్‌, సిమ్యులేషన్‌ గేమ్స్‌ తదితరాలెన్నింటినో అందుబాటులోకి తేనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు. కార్యక్రమంలో ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రి చినరాజప్ప, మంత్రి గంటా శ్రీనివాసరావు పాల్గొన్నారు.

దీపావళి పండగను ఆనందంగా నిర్వహించుకోవాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతో ‘ఆనంద దీపావళి’ పేరుతో కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్లు చంద్రబాబు పేర్కొన్నారు. విశాఖసాగరతీరంలోఆయన ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభించారు. విశాఖ అభివృద్ధికి ఉక్కు సంకల్పంతో పనిచేయాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. విశాఖ నుంచి భీమిలి వరకు ఉన్న బీచ్‌ను పెద్దఎత్తున అభివృద్ధి చేసి ప్రతిరోజూ సాయంత్రం లక్షల మంది సాగరతీరంలోసేద తీరేలా ఏర్పాట్లు చేయనున్నామని ప్రకటించారు.

Government of Andhra Pradesh is committed to augment inclusive growth of the State across different sectors and strongly believes that Technology and its development forms the core of an economy. This has led to formulation of a Blueprint “Re-Imagining Andhra Pradesh – role of e-Governance, Electronics and Information Technology” for development of Electronics and Information and communications technology (ICT) Industry in the State. The Blueprint also envisages a number of conducive policies and simple but effective frameworks being put in place.

 

2.         In the G.O’s 1^st and 2^nd read above, in order to promote IT/ITES sector in the new State of Andhra Pradesh, Government has put in place Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Policy 2014-2020 wherein a special dispensation has been provided for setting up of IT/ITES Projects in the State.

 

3.         In the representation 3^rd read above, M/s Conduent Business Services India LLP has submitted a proposal to the Government under Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Policy 2014-2020 for a special package of incentives as Mega Project to setup their IT/ITES operation with an investment of Rs.649 Crores and generating employment of more than 5000 people at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

 

4.         In the reference 4^th read above, the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has discussed the proposal in detail and accepted certain package of incentives to be provided to M/s Conduent Business Services India LLP.

 

5.         Based on SIPB recommendations, Government have accepted to provide the following incentives to M/s Conduent Business Services India Limited Liability Partnership,

 

(a)   To be considered as a Mega Project under Andhra Pradesh IT Policy 2014-20, given this project as a major investment by an Information Technology / Information Technology Enabled Services company in the state and considering an investment size of INR 649 crore with employment of 5,000 people;

(b)  To provide 9.5 acres of developed land at Hill 3, Rushikonda, Madhuravada, in Visakhapatnam @ Rs. 55 lacs/acre;

(c)   To provide employment incentive of Rs. 1 lakh/employment generated;

(d)  To provide for timely clearances under Single Desk Portal and appoint a nodal officer to be the single point of contact for M/s. Conduent Business Services India LLP;

(e)   Uninterrupted power supply as per AP IT Policy  2014-20;

(f)   Sublease of land / infra without any approval / charges / taxes / duties to be provided within the ambit of Andhra Pradesh IT Policy 2014-20;

(g)  Permission to run 24*7 shifts and employment of women in all three shifts as per the Andhra Pradesh IT Policy 2014/20;

(h)  Considered for

(1)  Incubation space of 350 seats with adequate parking space at free of cost for one year;

(2)  January, 2018:

                                                           (i)         55,000 Sq.ft. of warm shell or plug-and-play office;

                                                         (ii)         To be invoiced at ZERO for first 6 months;

                                                       (iii)         To be invoiced at 50% for next 3 years or completion of building construction whichever is earlier and 100% thereafter;

(3)  October, 2018:

                                                          (i)         55,000 Sq.ft. of warm shell or plug-and-play office;

                                                        (ii)         To be invoiced at 50% for first 3 years or completion of building construction whichever is earlier and 100% thereafter;

(4)  July, 2019:

                                                          (i)         92,000 Sq.ft. of warm shell or plug-and-play office;

                                                        (ii)         To be invoiced at 50% for first 3 years from lease commencement  or completion of building construction whichever is earlier and 100% thereafter;

(i)    To provide an assistance of Rs.5000/-per month for a student upto six months subject to maximum of Rs.30,000/- per student for skill development of students from Andhra Pradesh domicile;

(j)    To facilitate with Government of India with respect to SEZ approval;

(k)  To facilitate local transport provided number of buses has to be pre-agreed and operational and maintenance costs have to be borne by M/s Conduent Business Services India LLP;

(l)    To provide, 100 Mbps Internet service at free of cost for 12 months of incubation time;

There is another hill adjacent to Kailasagiri. Back in around year 2000, govt has prepared the road on the other hill, but later govt didn't care it . If govt can connect both the hills via  rope bridge or glass bridge, it will certainly become a tourist attraction.

I also remember that....CBN wanted ropeway from one hill to other.....He finished Kailasagiri ropeway project and that gondala-to-gondla was planned in phase-2....He lost 2004 and that gone to cold storage....

ఈనాడు, దిల్లీ: విశాఖపట్నంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ప్రభుత్వం నిర్మించతలపెట్టిన అత్యాధునిక క్రీడా ప్రాంగణానికి విశాఖ ఉక్కు కర్మాగారం గ్రీన్‌బెల్ట్‌ పరిధిలోని 70 ఎకరాలు ఇవ్వడానికి కేంద్ర ఉక్కుశాఖ అంగీకరించింది. ఇందుకు బదులుగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం విశాఖ స్టీల్స్‌కు 110 ఎకరాలు ఇవ్వనుంది. సోమవారం కేంద్ర ఉక్కుశాఖ మంత్రి చౌదరీ బీరేంద్రసింగ్‌ సింగ్‌ నేతృత్వంలో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో ఈ మేరకు నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. గత శుక్రవారం కేంద్రమంత్రి అశోక్‌గజపతిరాజు ఉక్కుశాఖ మంత్రి బీరేంద్రసింగ్‌ను కలిసి సెప్టెంబర్‌ 14న ఇదే అంశంపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబురాసిన లేఖను అందించారు.

  నౌకాయాన రంగంలో నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి కోసం ఏర్పాటు
  సీమెన్స్‌ నుంచి సాంకేతిక సహకారం, అనుభవం
ఈనాడు, దిల్లీ: నౌకాయాన రంగంలో నైపుణ్యవంతమైన మానవ వనరులను తయారుచేయడానికి కేంద్ర నౌకాయాన మంత్రిత్వశాఖ విశాఖపట్నం, ముంబయిల్లో  ప్రపంచస్థాయి అత్యుత్తమ శిక్షణ కేంద్రాన్ని  ఏర్పాటుచేయాలని సంకల్పించింది. సాగరమాల కార్యక్రమం కింద సీమెన్స్‌, ఇండియన్‌ రిజిష్టర్‌ ఆఫ్‌ షిప్పింగ్‌ సంయుక్త సౌజన్యంతో ఈ కేంద్రాలను ఏర్పాటుచేస్తారు. నౌకాయాన పరిశ్రమకు అవసరమైన నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలు చేపడతారు. షిప్‌ డిజైన్‌, తయారీ, నిర్వహణ, మరమ్మతు, ఓవర్‌హాలింగ్‌లో దేశీయ అవసరాలకు తగ్గట్టు శిక్షణ ఇస్తారు. ఈ కేంద్రాల్లో పూర్తికాల శిక్షణ ఉంటుంది. అవసరమైన అనుమతులు వచ్చిన ఆరునెలల్లో ఏర్పాటు పూర్తిచేస్తారు. మరోపక్క ఐటీఐ, పాలిటెక్నిక్‌, ఇంజనీరింగ్‌ కాలేజీల్లో కో-కరికులమ్‌గా తీసుకొని శిక్షణ ఇస్తారు. ఈ రంగంలో దక్షిణాసియాలో భారత్‌ను ప్రధాన కేంద్రంగా నిలబెట్టి పొరుగుదేశాలైన శ్రీలంక, బంగ్లాదేశ్‌, థాయిలాండ్‌, మలేషియా, ఇండోనేషియాల నుంచి విద్యార్థులను ఆకర్షించాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నారు. ప్రైవేటురంగానికి చెందిన సీమెన్స్‌ సాంకేతిక సహకారం, అనుభవాన్ని అందిస్తుంది. ఈ కేంద్రం ఏర్పాటుకు అవసరమయ్యే రూ.766 కోట్లలో 87 శాతం నిధులు సమకూరుస్తుంది. నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి అంశాల్లో సీమెన్స్‌ ఇప్పటికే గుజరాత్‌, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ప్రభుత్వాలతో కలిసి పనిచేస్తోంది. కేంద్ర నౌకాయానశాఖ ఈ కేంద్రాలకు అవసరమయ్యే యంత్రాల కొనుగోలు, తరగతిగదులు, వర్క్‌షాప్‌, ల్యాబ్‌ల ఏర్పాటుకు అయ్యే రూ.50.07 కోట్లను ఏకమొత్తంలో చెల్లిస్తుంది. ఇంతే సమానమైన మొత్తాన్ని ఇండియన్‌ రిజిష్టర్‌ ఆఫ్‌ షిప్పింగ్‌ కూడా సమకూరుస్తుంది. దేశీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ విద్యార్థుల నుంచి ఫీజులు వసూలుచేస్తారు. ఈ ఫీజులు బహిరంగ మార్కెట్‌లో వసూలుచేసే దానికంటే తక్కువగా ఉంటాయని నౌకాయానశాఖ తెలిపింది.

ఈనాడు, విశాఖపట్నం: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ గ్రీనింగ్‌ అండ్‌ బ్యూటిఫికేషన్‌ కార్పొరేషన్‌ ఈ ఉద్యానవన నిర్మాణానికి అనుసంధానకర్తగా వ్యవహరిస్తోంది. ఈ విభాగం పలుమార్లు వుడా, రాజ్‌ ఎక్సిపిడిత్‌ ఆర్కిటెక్‌ ప్రతినిధులతో అమరావతిలో సమావేశమై ఓ స్పష్టతకు వచ్చింది. ప్రాజెక్టుకు సంబంధించి రాజ్‌ ఎక్సిపిడిత్‌ ఆర్కిటెక్‌ సంస్థ నమూనాలను సిద్ధం చేసింది. వుడా అధికారులతో క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పర్యటించిన ఆ సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులు ల్యాండ్‌ స్కేప్‌పై ఓ అంచనాకు వచ్చారు. తీరా ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధమై పనులు ప్రారంభమవుతాయనుకున్న తరుణంలో ఆర్థిక లావాదేవీల్లోనో.. మరే ఇతర కారణాల్లోనో తేడాలొచ్చి ఈ బాధ్యతల నుంచి రాజ్‌ ఎక్సిపిడిత్‌ను అధికారులు తప్పించారు. తాజాగా మధూస్‌ మజుందార్‌ సంస్థ తెరమీదికొచ్చింది. అంతకు ముందు పుణే నుంచి వచ్చిన రెండు సంస్థల ప్రతినిధులు ముడసర్లోవ పార్కుపై ప్రజెంటేషన్లు ఇచ్చినా అనుభవం లేదనే కారణంతో వుడా పక్కనపెట్టింది. వారం క్రితమే మధూస్‌ సంస్థ రంగంలోకి దిగింది. సర్వే ప్రక్రియ చేపట్టి నివేదిక, ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేసే పనిలో నిమగ్నమైంది. నిర్మాణానికి ఖర్చు ఎంతవుతుందన్న దానిపై ఇప్పటి వరకు అంచనా మాత్రమే ఉంది. క్షేత్రస్థాయి సర్వే జరిపి ఓ అంచనాకు వచ్చి సమగ్ర నివేదిక అందిస్తే స్పష్టత వస్తుంది.

ముహూర్తం ఎప్పుడో..?: తొలుత ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేటు భాగస్వామ్యంతో ముడసర్లోవ పార్కు నిర్మించాలని అధికారులు భావించారు. పార్కు నిర్మాణం, ఇతర మౌలిక వసతుల కల్పనను వుడా చేపట్టి.. అందులో ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్న ఒక్కో విభాగాన్ని ఒక్కో ప్రైవేటు సంస్థకు అప్పగిస్తే ఎలా ఉంటుందనే ఆలోచనకు వచ్చింది. వివిధ అవాంతరాలు ఎదురవుతుండడంతో ప్రాజెక్టు ముందుకు కదలడంలేదు. వాస్తవంగా అన్నీ అనుకూలిస్తే.. టీయూ-142 యుద్ధవిమాన ప్రదర్శనశాల, ఎన్‌ఏడీ పైవంతెన శంకుస్థాపన సమయంలోనే ముడసర్లోవ ఉద్యానవనానికి శంకుస్థాపన చేయించాలని వుడా భావించింది. అనుకోని అడ్డంకులు రావడంతో జాప్యం అనివార్యమైంది. వీలైనంత త్వరగా ముడసర్లోవ పార్కు ప్రణాళికపై స్పష్టతకు వచ్చి.. ప్రాజెక్టు నిర్మాణానికి చర్యలు చేపడతామని వుడా వీసీ పట్నాల బసంత్‌కుమార్‌ ‘ఈనాడు’తో చెప్పారు.
