sonykongara Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 చంద్రబాబును కలిసిన ఎల్‌అండ్‌టీ ప్రతినిధులు విజయవాడ : రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడిని ఎల్‌అండ్‌టీ ప్రతినిధులు శుక్రవారం కలిశారు. ఈ సందర్బంగా విశాఖపట్టణంలో ఏర్పాటుచేయదలిచిన అంతర్జాతీయ కన్వెన్షన్‌ సెంటర్‌పై చర్చించేందుకు వారు సీఎంను కలిశారు. ఈ సందర్బంగా కన్వెన్షన్‌ సెంటర్‌ అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రమాణాలతో నిర్మాణం ఉండాలని సీఎం వారికి సూచించారు. అలాగే వచ్చే ఫిబ్రవరిలో సీఐఐ భాగస్వామ్య సదస్సు నాటికి 40శాతం నిర్మాణం పూర్తికావాలని చంద్రబాబు వారికి స్పష్టం చేశారు. అలాగే బహుళ వరుసల కార్‌ పార్కింగ్‌ ఏరియాలో కన్వెన్షన్‌ సెంటర్‌, స్టార్‌ హోటల్‌, ఎగ్జిబిషన్‌ సెంటర్‌ ఉండాలని సూచించారు. రాజీలేని డిజైన్‌, క్వాలిటీతో నిర్మాణాలుండాలని ఎల్‌అండ్‌టీ ప్రతినిధులకు చంద్రబాబు సూచించారు Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The convention centre will be built to accommodate around 10,000 people and will provide various services like an integrated sports complex. It will also house major universities and colleges like IIMs, NITs and IITs which will help in promoting the growth of the hospitality sector for meetings and conferences in Vizag. The convention centre will be built at Madhurawada. An Exhibition centre of 50,000 sq.ft. Area is also being planned under this project to promote tourism. A similar plan is given out for Vijayawada and Tirupati. The main aim of the government is to develop Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation and make it into an educational hub for major schools, colleges and universities. Current Status: Project Brief:In order to promote the growth of the Hospitality sector and Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing, Exhibitions (MICE) under tourism industry in the state, and thereby to give an impetus to the local economy, it is envisaged to develop a Convention Center in Visakhapatnam. It will have a convention centre with a capacity of 750, a shopping mall and an entertainment centre. CMR Group and Chandana Brothers’ Shopping Mall Private Limited have signed an MoU with Tourism Department for investment of over Rs.500 crore on developing convention centres, a five star hotel, multiplexes and entertainment centres on par with international standards in Visakhapatnam and a few other projects at Kakinada, Rajahmundry and Eluru. After signing the MoU on Tuesday at the CII Partnership Summit on the last day, CMR Group chairman Mavuri Venkata Ramana told The Hindu that they would invest Rs.300 crore on developing two convention centres (2,000 and 750 capacity), a five-star hotel, an entertainment centre on par with international standards in an area of 18 acres at Madhurawada in the city. The hotel will have 10 floors. Another project with an investment of about Rs.100 crore is proposed in an area of six acres also in city at Gajuwaka. It will have a convention centre with a capacity of 750, a shopping mall and an entertainment centre. Mr. Ramana said they would undertake another project under BOT arrangement with APSRTC in Eluru in West Godavari district for building a shopping mall and multiplex and a convention hall with an investment of about Rs.80 crore. Kambalakonda 400 acres park and convention center Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu pitched for creating right eco-system to attract industry for the overall growth of Vizag. Talking to reporters here on Monday after reviewing various developmental works related to Vizag with the district officials, Mr Naidu said tenders for the proposed flyover at NAD Kotha Road junction will be called within 15-20 days after putting the two designs, shortlisted by Vuda, in the public domain for feedback. “To attract industry we need to create right eco-system in Vizag for which international schools and universities should come here. Tourist spots should also be developed for which we have taken up various initiatives. International hotel groups should also be invited to Vizag. International tourism festivals should also come to Vizag,” he said. The Chief Minister said in the meeting he had reviewed around four proposals to develop an integrated sports complex with international standards. He said these designs will have 25 lakh sft, 14 lakh sft, 11 lakh sft and 15 lakh sft space respectively of which one would be finalised. He also said that 400 acres of land in Kambalakonda, abutting national highway will be developed into an eco-tourism park without disturbing the ecology. Regarding the proposed International Convention Centre, the Chief Minister said that APIIC had identified its land near Harbour Park area to develop such a facility for which the government will also seek a private land. “The government will request private persons to give their property abutting the APIIC land. A world-class seafront convention centre can be developed in 13 acres, if the private party also gives its land. A hotel, shopping arena can also be developed on that land. We will give alternative land if the private person hands over the land to the government or else we can also make him the partner in the venture in PPP mode in a transparent manner,” Mr Naidu said. He also said that eight new beaches will be developed in the district. Lambasingi and Daallapalli in Vizag Agency will be developed as tourist destinations. sonykongara Posted October 12, 2016 Author Share Posted October 12, 2016 విశాఖపట్నంలో రూ.300 కోట్లతో క్రీడా నగరాన్ని (స్పోర్ట్స్‌ సిటీ) ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోంది. క్రీడా నగరానికి రాష్ట్రీయ ఇస్పాత్‌ నిగం లిమిటెడ్‌ (ఆర్‌ఐఎన్‌ఎల్‌) 250 ఎకరాలు కేటాయించేందుకు ముందుకొచ్చింది. క్రీడా నగర ఏర్పాటుకు అవసరమయ్యే నిధులు విశాఖపట్నం అర్బన్ డెవలప్మెంట్ అథారిటీ (VUDA) సమకూర్చుతుంది. ఈ క్రీడానగర నిర్మాణంతో విశాఖకు జాతీయస్థాయి క్రీడా పోటీల నిర్వహణకు ఆతిథ్యమిచ్చే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది. వాస్తవంగా నగర శివారు గండిగుండంలో 90 ఎకరాల్లో క్రీడా గ్రామాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని మొదట ప్రతిపాదించారు. అయితే ఆర్‌ఐఎన్‌ఎల్‌ భూములిచ్చేందుకు ముందుకు రావడంతో మొదట క్రీడా నగర ఏర్పాటు విషయాన్ని పరిశీలించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు.
