sonykongara Posted October 28, 2018 Author Share Posted October 28, 2018 మెగా నగరానికి ప్రణాళిక217 కిలోమీటర్ల పరిధిలో ఏర్పాటురాష్ట్ర మున్సిపల్‌ శాఖ మంత్రి పి.నారాయణ విజయవాడ, న్యూస్‌టుడే: అమరావతి ఇప్పటికే రాజధాని నగరమైనందున విజయవాడ, గుంటూరు, మంగళగిరి, తాడేపల్లి పరిధుల్లోని 217 కిలోమీటర్లను కలిపి మెగా నగరంగా మార్చేందుకు ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించినట్లు రాష్ట్ర మున్సిపల్‌ శాఖ మంత్రి పి.నారాయణ పేర్కొన్నారు. స్వచ్ఛ సర్వేక్షణ్‌లో కేంద్రం ఇచ్చిన ర్యాంకుల్లో రాష్ట్రానికి మొదటి 10లో మూడు ర్యాంకులు, 300లో 31 ర్యాంకులు రావడం గర్వకారణమన్నారు. శనివారం అమరావతి పరిధిలోని గన్నవరం నుంచి విజయవాడ వరకు ఉన్న జాతీయ రహదారి విభాగినులు (సెంటర్‌ డివైడర్‌), రహదారికి ఇరువైపులా చేపట్టిన పచ్చదనం, నడక దారుల(ఫుట్‌పాత్‌లు)ను ఆయన పరిశీలించారు. విమానాశ్రయం నుంచి పవిత్ర సంగమం వరకు, విజయవాడ నుంచి గుంటూరు వరకూ రోడ్డు విభాగినులను అభివృద్ధి చేసినట్లు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. అనుకున్న సమయానికే రాజధాని నిర్మాణాన్ని పూర్తి చేసేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి ఉందని మంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు. బాండ్ల రూపంలో రూ.2వేల కోట్లు సేకరించామని.. కేంద్రం ఈ విధానాన్ని ప్రోత్సహిస్తూ రాయితీగా రూ.26 కోట్లు అందజేసిందన్నారు. ఆయన వెంట సీఆర్డీఏ కమిషనర్‌ చెరుకూరి శ్రీధర్‌, విజయవాడ మేయర్‌ కోనేరు శ్రీధర్‌, నగరపాలక సంస్థ కమిషనర్‌ నివాస్‌ తదితరులు ఉన్నారు. These are a few things that might spring to mind when you think about a modern city. Many of the world’s major conurbations are organically grown sprawls – think of London, Tokyo, New York or Mexico City – and face challenges including air pollution, traffic jams, waste disposal and homelessness. So what if you could start from scratch and try to create utopia? And what if one of the world’s leading architects designed the centre? Image: Foster + Partners That’s happening in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, where the local government has enlisted Norman Foster to help redesign the capital city for the province, Amaravati. Singapore-based urban consultants Surbana Jurong are also involved in the planning, which aims to create jobs and homes for all, a world-class infrastructure, a green city and efficient resource management. Foster’s team is designing the central focus of the 217-square-km city, including the Legislature Assembly and High Court Complex, and according to the architect, the design will incorporate “decades-long research into sustainable cities” as well as the latest technologies being developed in India. Large shaded walkways to encourage people to walk through the city, lots of green spaces, widespread use of solar energy and a transportation strategy that includes electric vehicles, water taxis, and dedicated cycle routes characterize the plans, which are set to be realized within 25 years. Here’s why Shaping well-being into the future of our urban communities In its report Harnessing the Fourth Industrial Revolution for Sustainable Emerging Cities, the Forum looks at how the world’s emerging cities can harness rapid and disruptive technological change to help build a sustainable future. “Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies such as artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles and drones, the internet of things, advanced materials, 3D printing and biotechnology are particularly relevant,” Celine Herweijer, a partner at PwC UK wrote in the report. “Many are already showing promise at reshaping urban sectors – including transport, energy, waste, water and buildings – and change will only accelerate.” A $5 billion annual opportunity In a separate paper, the Forum assesses how the state of Andhra Pradesh could benefit from harnessing new technologies and concludes there could be a $5 billion annual opportunity by 2022. Cities in other locations are also aiming to become more sustainable. Copenhagen wants to become the world's first carbon-neutral capital by 2025. Norway is building Oslo Airport City, a 4 million square metre city that will take 30 years to build and be powered entirely by renewable energy and served by electric vehicles. In a Forum podcast on the future of cities and urbanization, Abha Joshi-Ghani, Senior Advisor on Infrastructure, Public-Private Partnerships and Guarantees at The World Bank discussed simple ways that technology can be harnessed to address waste and mobility problems, for example waste bins that send messages when they are full. sonykongara Posted October 29, 2018 Author Share Posted October 29, 2018 ప్రపంచంలోనే ఎత్తైన సచివాలయం29-10-2018 02:54:03 41 ఎకరాల్లో 212 మీటర్ల నిర్మాణం.. దేశంలోనే తొలి డయాగ్రిడ్‌ భవనం మొదటిసారిగా ట్విన్‌ లిఫ్ట్‌ సౌకర్యం మన నిబద్ధతే పెట్టుబడుల ఆకర్షణ సీఆర్డీయే అధికారులతో చంద్రబాబు అమరావతి, అక్టోబరు 28(ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): నవ్యాంధ్ర రాజధాని అమరావతిలో 212 మీటర్ల ఎత్తుతో(695 అడుగులు) ప్రపంచంలోనే అత్యంత ఎత్తైన సచివాలయ నిర్మాణం చేపట్టి చరిత్ర సృష్టిస్తున్నట్లు సీఎం చంద్రబాబు చెప్పారు. 41 ఎకరాల్లో నిర్మించే ఈ సచివాలయం దేశంలోనే తొలి డయాగ్రిడ్‌ భవనం కావడం విశేషమని, అలాగే మొదటిసారిగా ట్విన్‌ లిఫ్ట్‌ సౌకర్యం కల్పిస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు. ఏపీసీఆర్డీయే, ఏడీసీ అధికారులతో ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆదివారం టెలికాన్ఫరెన్స్‌ నిర్వహించారు. మౌలిక వసతుల కల్పనలోనూ అత్యుత్తమ ప్రమాణాలు పాటించాలని అధికారులను ఆయన ఆదేశించారు. ‘ప్రతి సవాలు మనల్ని మరింత దృఢం గా చేస్తుంది. అనేక ఇబ్బందులు, కష్టాల మధ్య మూడేళ్ల కిందట ప్రయాణాన్ని ప్రారంభించాం. ప్రపంచంలోనే ఐదు అత్యుత్తమ నగరాల్లో ఒకటిగా అమరావతిని తీర్చిదిద్దాలని నిర్ణయించాం. అతితక్కువ సమయంలోనే తాత్కాలిక పరిపాలనా భవనం, అసెంబ్లీని నిర్మించుకొని చరిత్ర సృష్టించాం’ అని చంద్రబాబు వివరించారు. వచ్చే ఏడాది కల్లా అమరావతి ప్రభుత్వ భవన సముదాయ నిర్మాణం కూడా ఒక రూపునకు వస్తుందన్నారు. ‘మన కష్టాన్ని, నిబద్ధతను, ప్రభుత్వం అనుసరిస్తున్న విధానాలను జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ పెట్టుబడిదారులు గుర్తించారు. కొత్త రాష్ట్రమైనప్పటికీ పెట్టుబడులకు అమరావతిని ఎంచుకొంటున్నారు. మన సర్కార్‌పై ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న నమ్మకానికి ఇదే నిదర్శనం. ఈ ఫలాలలను ప్రజలందరికీ అందించడమే మన కర్తవ్యం. సమీప భవిష్యత్‌లో అమరావతిలో జనాభాతోపాటు ఆర్థిక వృద్ధి గణనీయంగా ఉంటుంది’ అని సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు. శాశ్వత సచివాలయ, శాసనసభ, హైకోర్టు భవనాల నిర్మాణ పనులు పూర్తయ్యే గడువులను తెలియజేస్తూ సమగ్ర నివేదిక సమర్పించాలని చంద్రబాబు ఆదేశించారు. అమరావతి అభివృద్ధితో కలిగే ఆర్థిక ప్రయోజనాలను రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రతిఒక్కరికీ అందేలా సీఆర్డీయే చర్యలు తీసుకొన్నట్లు మంత్రి నారాయణ చెప్పారు. శరవేగంగా పనులు రూ.14,360 కోట్లతో చేపట్టిన రోడ్లు, నీటి సరఫరా, మురుగునీటి పారుదల, రూ.4890 కోట్లతో మొదలుపెట్టిన సచివాలయం, హైకోర్టు భవన నిర్మాణ పనులు శరవేగంగా జరుగుతున్నాయని సీఆర్డీయే సీఈవో అజయ్‌జైన్‌ వివరించారు. కీలక పెట్టుబడి అవకాశాలను కూడా సీఆర్డీయే గుర్తించిందన్నారు. 2019 సెప్టెంబరు నాటికి పూర్తి చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా నిర్దేశించామని వివరించారు. Published: 27th October 2018 09:24 AM | Last Updated: 27th October 2018 09:24 AM | A+A A- By Express News Service VIJAYAWADA: Appreciating the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) for issuing Amaravati Bonds, the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry announced an incentive of Rs 26 crore under Atal Mission For Rejuvenation And Urban Transformation (AMRUT) scheme. “Congratulations to APCRDA, Amaravati, for issuing bonds worth Rs 2,000 crore. In recognition, the Union Ministry awards them Rs 26 crore as an incentive under #AMRUT (sic),” the Union Ministry tweeted on Friday. For the record, the Union Ministry, to encourage Urban Local Modies (ULBs) covered under AMRUT scheme in raising finances through municipal bonds, has decided to provide incentives to 10 ULBs in 2018-19. The incentive would be limited to Rs 13 crore for every Rs 100 crore worth of bonds issued with a cap of Rs 200 crore. The announcement came as a shot in the arm for the authority, which received a backlash from various quarters, especially Opposition parties claiming the authority raised funds at a high interest rate. It may be noted that the APCRDA in August had issued bonds to institutional investors, who oversubscribed the Amaravati Bonds by 1.53 times. The coupon rate of the bonds was set at 10.32 per cent and the interest will be paid on a quarterly basis. As there is a moratorium of five years, the authority will have to pay Rs 52 crore per quarter for the first five years of the 10-year-tenure. From the sixth year, the authority will repay 20 per cent of the principal annually. By the end of the tenth year, the APCRDA will have Rs 1,573.5 crore towards interest on the Rs 2,000 crore bonds.
