ప్రముఖ కార్ల దిగ్గజం కియా పరిశ్రమ పనులు వేగం పంజుకున్నాయి. అనంతపురం జిల్లా, పెనుకొండ మండలంలోని అమ్మవారుపల్లి, ఎర్రమించి వద్ద ఐదు దశలుగా చేపడుతున్న భూమి చదును పనులు తుది దశకు వచ్చాయి. 1, 2, 3, 5 దశల్లో పనులు పూర్తి కాగా, నాలుగో దశ కొనసాగు తున్నాయి. ఇప్పటికే కేటాయించిన 582.70 ఎకరాల్లో కియా ప్రధాన పరిశ్రమలో పెయింట్స్ షాపు, బాడీ బిల్లర్ వర్క్ షాప్, ఇంజిన్ ఫుట్ వర్క్స్ షాపు , ఇందనం నిలువ చేయడానికి కూల్ ఫుట్ షాప్, పవర్ ట్రైన్ షాప్, మోడల్ షాప్, అసెంబుల్డ్ షాపు, ఇంటర్నల్ రోడ్స్ పనులు చురుగ్గా సాగుతున్నాయి.

 

పరిశ్రమ చుట్టూ కెనాల్ టౌన్షిప్, శిక్షణా కేంద్రం పనులు చేపడుతున్నా. వీటిని కొరియా టెక్నికల్ ఇంజీనీర్లు, మేనేజర్ల బృందం ఎప్పటికప్పుడు పర్యవేక్షిస్తున్నారు. గొల్లపల్లి రిజర్వా యర్ నుంచి పరిశ్రమకు అవసరమైన నీటి పైప్ లైన్ పనులు చురుగ్గా సాగుతున్నాయి. పరిశ్రమకు అవసరమైన యంత్రాలు, పరికరాలు ఉంచుకోవటానికి 82 ఎకరాల్లో డంపింగ్ యార్డ్ నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. పనుల పురోగతి పై జిల్లా కలెక్టర్, కియా బృందం, ఏపీఐఐసీ అధికారులు ప్రతి వారం సమీక్ష నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు.

2019 ద్వితీయార్థం నుంచి భారతీయ మార్కెట్లో కార్ల అమ్మకాలను ప్రారంభిస్తున్నామని ఆ సంస్థ పేర్కొంది. అనంతపురం జిల్లా పెనుకొండ మండలం ఎర్రమంచి గ్రామంలో దాదాపు 600 ఎకరాల విస్తీర్ణంలో రూ.13వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడితో కియా సంస్థ కార్ల తయారీ యూనిట్‌ను నెలకొల్పుతున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. 2018 మార్చి నాటికి ట్రయల్‌ రన్‌, 2019 సెప్టెంబరుకల్లా ఉత్పత్తిని ప్రారంభించడం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నారు. ఏడాదికి మూడు లక్షల కార్ల ఉత్పత్తి సామర్థ్యంతో దీనిని నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. అంటే... రోజుకు దాదాపు 820 కార్లు! అంటే... గంటకు సుమారు 30 కార్లు బయటికి వస్తాయి. వీటిని ఇక్కడి నుంచి దేశ విదేశాలకు ఎగుమతి చేస్తారు.

I met few electricians in train this week who are coming to Penukonda to work in KIA Motors through Bhuma Constructions. They are all from UP & Bihar. 2-2.6 years contract they were saying.

They are paid 18500 they were getting 12000 before in Gurgaon in some other Korean company.

Can't these jobs be given to locals? Is it dependent on construction company? Government can't enforce them to take locals?

There must be solid business reasons behind this. ala kadu ani "local reservation" pedithe vacche vallu kuda potaru.

Problem with andhra :

a) low children

b. Freebies such as subsidized rice, ration stuff, free housing from govt ..this means poor people dont have incentive to work a little bit more

c. A culture which does not value these types of skills ...andhra people either want office jobs ..or lazy jobs like chowkidhar, mesthri, driver. But these skills are important - plumbing, electrician, mechanic, basic machinery operations.

Solutions ;

a)Pool all these staffing companies which live on govt contracts and ask them to set up education institutions for these skills with stipend.

b. Make it conditional for freebies that they have degrees in these skills which they can get for free

bangalore, chennai, hyderabad,pune lo telugu vaallu pani chestunnaaru . akkada kudaa local reservation kaavalante ela vuntundi manaki.  ilanti issues raise cheste local politicians/union leaders  use avutundi, vaallu companies harass chestaaru.  

in india every private organization has right to hire person of their choice. any company or even you want to get things done at cheaper cost with required quality.  in andhra and telangana people are not willing to work as lorry drivers. lorry owners hiring people from orissa/bengal/up/bihar . ap government at most requests company to train and hire local people . it can't dictate or demand to hire local people. in sricity industries most of the people from north living in dormitories, they work and stay away from their families . companies prefer to setup in sricity rather than tamilnadu. let the industries come here, local people gradually get awareness regarding the skills required to work in the industry and they will be absorbed later. 

even if we don't get direct employment we can get indirect employment in terms of hotels,rents .... , you can see this development near krishnapatnam port , where north people  work in port,power plants and other industries.

There are still people available who studied iti & diploma but the main problem is no special training for them which can meet industries requirements... Cbn is focusing on that.. Will see the change in coming years

But nenu vinnadi yenti ante, enough students Leka industrial training, practicals and hands on  chala varaku cheyyatledu and more over combining two or more colleges for those. 

Yes heard that CBN is concerned on that but no positive results yet.
