This movie,directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by S. Gopala Reddy, had a unique record of running 500 days in Guntur. The film starred senior actresses Bhanumathi and Suhasini. The movie had a village background and Balayya babu suited the character. The song “Danchave Menatta Koothura†composed by K.V. Mahadevan is still popular.

Muddula Mavayya movie was another silver jubilee in Balakrishna career. The movie ran for a record 175 days with huge collections. The movie was directed by Kodi Ramakrishna with movie stars Vijayashanti and Seetha in lead roles.

Lorry driver was the first movie with the combination of Balakrishna and B. Gopal. This duo produced four consecutive silver jubilee movies. The movie stars Vijayashanti and Sarada in lead roles. Late music director Chakravarthy composed music for the film.

This movie was the first science fiction movie in Telugu. Balakrishna can be seen in two roles-one of a student and the other of king Krishnadeva Raya. The movie takes you on an exciting ride to the past and future. The movie was directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and produced by Anita Krishna. Legendary music Illayaraja composed music for the movie. The movie collected a record INR 90 million. Actor Tarun was seen as child artist in the movie.

Balakrishna is a unique actor. He has tried different movies, different characters like his father N.T. Rama Rao. Bhairava Dweepam was a different movie in his career. The movie got him Filmfare award for best actor for the year 1994. The movie was directed bySingeetham Srinivasa Rao and produced by Venkatrami Reddy with Roja as the lead actress. The music was composed by Madhavapeddi Suresh. The movie stars Roja as actress.

Narasimha Naidu was made with a budget of 8 crores and collected huge sum of 30 crores. The movie got Balayya Babu the ‘Nandi’ award for best actor. The story line of Narasimha Naidu was used later in many movies like Indra. The movie was again directed by Gopal and produced by Murali Krishna. This movie marked the first movie in Telugu for writer Chinni Krishna. Again Mani Sharma music, Parchuri brother’s dialogues and V.S.R. Swamy camera work were the highlights. The movie starred Simran,Preeti Jhangiani and Asha Shaini.

Simha movie got another ‘Nandi’ award to Balakrishna. The movie has a routine story by Boyapati Srinu but due to performance of Balayya Babu the movie went on to become the biggest hit in his career. The movie celebrated 100 days in 92 centers. The movie is considered to be one of his finest performances from the star. Balaya Babu portrayed two characters-that of a son and a father. No makeup was put for the senior character. The movie starred NayantaraNamitha, andSneha Ullal in lead roles, and was produced by Parchuri Kireeti with music by Chakri.

Balakrishna got a golden chance to remake his father’s classic ‘Lava Kusha’. Playing Lord Rama was not an easy task and Balakrishna lived up to the expectations. The movie was directed by Bapu and written by late Mullapudi Venkataramana. One big challenge for director Bapu was finding suitable actress for Sita and Nayantara proved she that she was the best. The Music byIllayaraja was magical.
