Dont want to short circuit any of the jovial(hoping) banter going on here in the feisty battled threads.... Randomly noticed few posts in the vanished thread(Pullarao-Lokesh) and a thing or two crossed the mind about the flow in the thread....Fighting of urges to not get in to middle, still need to bring those couple of things regarding first couple of pages of that now invisble thread...... Ohh .... it is going to be an uphill task to talk about something that is against the popular culture and grain…...yEtiki yedhureethE kaani cheppaali…...Our NFDB in general is not completely alien to the popular culture that is not necessarily good, infact it is also a parcel and microcosm in some issues to an extent if not totally.......Might not do justice here with a short post, since it is about a paradigm shift in bros only that could really matter in the long run and give sense of gratification.....So it is long process... Obviously there are some popular misconceptions....What is considered to be Knowledge? What is the definition of 'Debate' in truest terms? Regarding educational institutes in India and everywhere, they are not the bases for knowledge and wisdom in building a person, mostly teaching about technical & mundane skills....So a Cambridge student does not necessarily shed light on Ethics, Morals, Good Values, the essential character fibre that needs in a person's essence....College education can help in the pursuit of true knowledge, if one charters that way....By itself is not a default thing, by any stretch of imagination.....This is the false impression our cultural thinking got in to in the last few generations….We are all victims of this misconceptions only varied by degree... To put in a line or two....Lets pick some high college educated for illustration purpose.....A Manishankar Iyer or JP or a Vundavalli or Manish tiwari etc. wont shed light on anything significant in most matters now a days except verbal blabber.....Lets say even at their best also they talk about some technical stuff, which you can do if you bother yourself a few hours of diligence..... Think for a minute....So English value based college education, ranks, language proficiency etc. wont be true yardsticks in our tradition, which primarily judge a person's character in most important Values and Conduct....... gnaanam anE adrusyamaina padhaartham ni mana nEla lo Rushulu chaala chakkaga cheppaaru chaala chOtla...Rishis peppered their mind impressions about this subject in various works, at various places of our land's precious literature....aa rakamaina Education & OS complete gaa Erase ayipOyindhi mana current system lo.... Thats why we are falsely believing some information dump,some googling, some oratory, some verbal skills, some language proficiency etc as pure Knowledge which is a false notion….No basis for that in our Tradition and in practical sense also….. Lokesh- yeah it is not going to be a minus point(sometimes & cases, could be argued as a minus also) having a famous father looming large on the side, but only his degree of passion & efforts determine his ascension… Remember bros, Reverse discrimination is as bad as discrimination if not more…..Think…... The most important ingredient of a person's character & the Values those make that, so far put under light, dont see any glaring defects in him….. Infact good aspects, no question, may not be popular in cinema centric db s like ours to say this....Sure it helps being raised by a nuclear family of both highly estimable functional parents of good character, unscarred childhood, reputed uncles' guided path, illustrious grandfather's inspiration, upbringing & honor of the family,no questionable conduct in college, business and now in party so far etc........It is undeniably good and enviable base, one cannot deny that looking straight. Alluding to just few parts of that thread in the beginning pages, some key concerns/objections/criticism of some of our beloved bros as said in the above post to senior bro..... Remember our current culture especially in India and elsewhere also, the superficial stuff is dominating the core dialogue....This is not necessarily about the persons/objects we(all) are viewing & talking sometimes, it is the chaotic,restless life styles and the wrong priorities making impressions,doing projections and doing the talking...So much is getting masked by impressions......In the land of munis( read - mounam - yEkaantham), what is the biggest scarcity now...No time for themselves, very uncomfortable spending couple of minutes with themselves......People are not spending time with themselves in the least bit of time, so automatically inferior culture reigns the roost....This thread in the first post is about that same superficial nature in the popular culture....
