Though Nag is favoured by many none was able to bear the tantrums of Lawrence. The pre-release hiccups added to woes. The media pounced the oppurtunity to write off the movie. The audio was the weakest of 2007. Handsome hero Nag appeared clumsy in the movie. Nag is also not known for big openings. Everyone thought this film will be washout in revenue. Suprisingly it turned out to be the Biggest Groccer in Nags Career. It even surpassed the total run share of Nag's earlier successful movies in its first week. DON collected around 9 Cr Share in First Week. This is the Breakup. Nizam - 3.5 cr (8 days) Ceded - 1.75 cr Nellore - 38 lacs Guntur - 70 lacs Krishna - 40 lacs East and West - 90 lacs Uttarandhra - 65 lacs Karantaka+TamilNadu+Overseas - 80 lacs Total - 9 Crores Share in first week. The festive season and lack of big movie for last 2 months favoured for such mammoth collections. It still is yet to collect big chunk for Newyear (first 3 days).. It will end up at around 15-17 cr in total run. My guess is by Sankranthi the film will run out of steam.. But great achievement for Nag. His best movies Mass collected around 18-19 cr and his one of the biggest flop is collecting the same amount. Time to rejoice for Nag fans and Sympathisers.
