NTR and Vijayawada Durgakalamandir is a deadly combination.

 

Perhaps, no other hero has so much attachment with a theater in whole Andhra Pradesh.

There are many unique records of NTR films which were released in Vijayawada Durgakalamandir which no other hero has in any single theater throughout A.P.

 

   1. NTR's first ever film "Mana Desham" was released in Vijayawada Durgakalamandir  on November 24, 1949.

      Ironically, even NTR's last film Srinatha kavi sarvabhoumudu was released in Vijayawada Durgakalamandir on 21/10/1993.

   2. A total of 62 films[(as a hero) excluding "Mana Desham" in which NTR played a guest role] were released which is a record for any hero in a single theater especially in a  big center like Vijayawada.

   3. 58 films achieved minimum respectable run (i.e. if a film released on say, 1st  of a month, it should at least run even on the 1st of the next month) which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

   4. 53 films ran for 50 days or more which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

   5. Consecutive 48 released films got minimum respectable run (i.e. if a film released on say, 1st  of a month, it should at least run even on the 1st of the next month) which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

   6. Consecutive 44 released black & white films got minimum respectable run which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

   7. Among black & white films, 42 films ran for 50 days or more, 43 films ran for 48 days, and 44 films ran for 43 days which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

   8. One picture released twice and ran for 50 days on both occasions which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

      [sri Krishna Pandaveeyam first released on January 13, 1966 and ran for 113 days.  It was re-released on November 1st, 1968 and ran for 50 days].

   9. This is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A..P.

      Consecutive first 41 released films ran for 50 or more days which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  10. NTR has 7 100-day run films in Black & white and Color which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  11. NTR has 27 100 days films in Vijayawada Durgakalamandir which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  12. NTR has 8 175 days films in Vijayawada Durgakalamandir which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  13. For 23 years, every year NTR had at least one 100 days film in Vijayawada Durgakalamandir which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  14. Consecutively for 13 years, NTR had 100 days films in Vijayawada Durgakalamandir which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.(1959-1971).

  15. For 9 times, NTR had two 100 days films in a single year which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  16. For 18 times, NTR had two 50 days films in a single year which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  17. For 5 times, NTR had three 50 days films in a single year which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  18. In a single year, NTR had four 50 days films in a single year which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.(1969).

  19. Another unique sensational record is NTR has 100 days films in every month of a year(i.e. from January to December(in different years) which is also obviously a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  23. Another unbeatable (no other hero can even think or can dream about this record) record is NTR had 100 days films which were released on 19 different dates in a month(in different months and different years)

  24. For 4 times, NTR had, both in Black & white and Color, 100 days? films in a single month which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

      February- Black&white-Pelli Cheis Choodu; color-Driver Ramudu

      March- Black&white-Paathaala Bhairavi; color-Deshoddharakulu(March 29, 1973)

      August- Black&white-Jagdekaveeruni Katha; Chankaya-Chandraguptha(August 25, 1977)

  25. Both in Black & white and Color, NTR had three 100 days? films on title role which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

      Black & white-Ramudu Bheemudu, Bandipotu, Rythubidda

      Color-Vetagadu, Driver Ramudu, DVS Karna

  26. NTR had 13 nonsocial 100 days films (2 historical films, 4 janapada films, 7 pouranika films) which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

  27. NTR had 23 nonsocial 50 days films (2 historical films, 8 janapada films, 13 pouranika films) which is a record for any hero in a single theater throughout A.P.

 

Almost all above records are unbeatable.

 

So, if anyone want to compare their favorite hero with NTR, first think above records and then only proceed.  These records are just in one theater.  What about the rest of all theaters?

 

That is why, NTR is NTR.  There is no comparison to him.  He was a legend. He will be a legend forever.
