none of that will change (revenue wise). almost everybody will operate from Hyderabad except for few that are too old who can not travel.

Correct except the link between prakasam barrage and NS RMC. that link may consists combination of pipes and canals with several stages of lifts on the way.

You may be right about these numbers. but is n't currently pattiseema lifts full capacity when there is no overflow at Dowleswaram? if so, why is it hard to maintain water level at dowleswaram to the brink? I am not saying full capacity lifting is needed. just could not understand the physics of it.

no irrigation needs get higher priority than drinking needs of the state be it any where.

no need to dig any deeper. just control discharge at polavaram equal to pumping capacities of lifts + discharge at dowleswaram.

even with that restriction, water level can be maintained to lift water.

there is 100 TMC below canals gravity level. That is too much for godavari delta alone for summer use. That water will surely be lifted. there is another 20 TMC that can not be used in any way.
